Worship: a time to connect with God through song and prayer.
We invite you to stand and sing with us as we praise God through Sunday, January 13th

We received the following letter from the Men’s Section of Franklin
County Jail:
Thank you so much for the care packets that you had sent us. We are
all thankful for them. It is amazing that there are people that think of us
inmates and look at us as human beings instead of animals. We are so
blessed to have people like you who care so much for others. May God
Bless you for everything that you do for others. God Bless You!
Signed by 25 different inmates in the Men’s Section
We received a Christmas Card from the Ladies Section signed by
about 25 different inmates. Following are a few of the notes written in
the card.
“Thank you for all you do for us Ladies at Franklin County Jail. “
“Thank you for caring.” “Thank you for making our Christmas special.”
“Thank you for the gifts, it meant the world to me.”
Copies of the letter and card are on the bulletin board in the hallway.
NEW SECURITY SYSTEM
We have updated our security system in the Church Building and
in the McCormack Center. There are new alarm codes. These new
codes are unique to each user. If you need access to the church,
you will need a code. To request a new code, please contact the
church office at 931-649-3867. Codes will be available during
regular office hours. There will no longer be a universal code.
This is for all of our safety and security.

BOWLING LEAGUE
It’s time to bowl again!! Put some fun in your Thursday nights and hit
the lanes with us. The season lasts for 10 weeks starting on January
24th and the cost is $8 per person per week. Beginners welcome. If
you are interested, please contact Cathy Frame at 931-273-9211. This
is a great time of fun together.

Did you know… that Pro-lifers in Tennessee are again celebrating the
protection of women and unborn children in Nashville with Planned
Parenthood's announcement recently that they have suspended
abortion services in the state's largest city? This comes just months
after the closure of the city's only other abortion facility in August.
According to Planned Parenthood officials, a number of factors
contributed to the abortion facility's decision. "The safety of our patients
is our number one priority. This interruption of abortion services is
temporary and in the meantime we will continue with family planning
services." Some news accounts have pointed to a shortage of
physicians willing to perform abortions.
