Unutulmamakıdır ki harita uzerine konulan mevki,kerteriz,zaman,herhangi bir kerteriz
hatti,herhangi başka bir karalama bir kaza gerçekleşmesi durumunda aynen jurnal
kayıtlarının kanun onündeki delil hükmü mertebesinde geçerli ve belkide daha cok
başvurulan bir kaynaktır...)
(Rung up=Ring Up : Burda ifade edilen bir terim olarak navigational full ahead’den Stand-
by full ahead’e geçişte telgrafın verdiği zil sesinin ifadesidir ve deniz yazışmalarına bu
şekilde girmiştir...Elbetteki pitch kontrollü olan yürütücü sistemlerde max.RPM’den yol
kesildiğinde herhangi bir zil sesi gelmiyecektir.Ancak terim aynı zamanda E.O.P (End of
Sea Passage ) ile birlikte kullanıldığından geminin kiracı talimatları doğrultusunda bu terim
ifadesiyle jurnale kaydedilmesi gerekmektedir.Yeri gelmişken HP,S.O.P,E.O.P ve H.U.W
terimlerini açıklayalım:
HP(Hours Propelled) S.O.P( Start of Sea Passage) ile başlar.Bunun başlama zamanı kaptan
tarafından kaydı için ilgili zabite bildirilir.Genellikle limandan neta olduktan sonra yada bir
kanal,fairway çıkışını takiben makinenin navigation full ahead moduna alınması itibari ve
diğer ayarlamalarla birlikte dikkate alınan ve uygulamada saatin tam ondalıklarına yada
hesabı kolay olması için kimi kaptanlar tarafından 6 dakikanının katları şeklinde belirlenerek
zabite bilidirilen zamandır.Bu zaman dan başlayarak E.O.P ye kadar geçen seyir süresi
geminin iki liman arasında ki mesafeyi gemiyi kiralayana sunanlar yani armatörü yada
disponent owneri tarafından gemiyi yük taşıtmak üzere kiralayana bildirdikleri ve kira
sözleşmelerine bu şekilde giren geminin ekonomik hızı yada kira müddeti içinde kiralayan
tarafından şart koşulan geminin katedeceği makul seyir hızıyla katedip etmediğinin
hesabında kullanılır.Geminin kiracı onayıyla buker operasyonu veya diğer nedenlerle geçici
demirlemesi (Temporary Anchorage ) surecinde geçen zaman bu ortalama hızın hesabında
kullanılan zaman olarak değerlendirilmez.Ancak Denize elverişli olarak kiracıya teslim
edilen geminin herhangi bir makine veya başka bir sair nedenle demirlemesi yada hızını
kesmesi sürecinde geçen bu süre üstte belirtilen hesaba dahil olacaktır ve dolayısıyla
ortalama sürat istenenden daha düşük çıkacaktır ve bu gemiyi kiraya sunan armatorü yada
disponent öwneri açısından istenmeyen bir durumdur.Uygulamada gemi sahibinin temsilcisi
konumu durumundaki kaptan tarafından, istenmeyen makine ağrızlarından kaynaklanan
beklemelerin kira akdinde gemi sahibi aleyhine doğacak hesaplamalardan zarar görmemesi
için gemi jurnaline hava durumu beafort kuvvet skalası yuksek yazılarak geminin istenen
hızı dalga ve ruzgar durdurucu etkisiyle yerine getiremediği savıyla geçiştirilmeye çalışılır
yada Kiracının kaptana verdiği Sefer talimatlarında belirtilen kötü hava şartları sınırında
veya daha üst bir durum gosterilerek zarar nispeti azaltılmaya çalışılır.Uygulamada eski
kaptanlar tarafından cokça uyygulanan yöntem ise geminin demirleme yada arıza nedeniyle
kaybettiği zamanda gercekte katedilmesi gereken zaman birkaç güne yayılarak geminin
gerçekte bulunduğu noon report noktasının gerisindeki bir nokta secilerek kiracıya bu
noktada bulunulduğu bildirilir,ve yada geminin o gün içerisinde kiracıya bildirilen yapması
istenen hız değerinden daha fazla hız yaptığı takdirde aradaki fark nispeti kadar noon
pozisyonu geri kaydırılır, yine hava şartlarının kötü olduğu daha makul ölçülerde abartılarak
verilir ve birkaç gün sonra kaybedilen mesafe zahiri olarak tekrar kazanıldığında doğru
raporların verilmesine geçilir gerektiğinde yukarda belirtilen muameler tekrar
yapılır...Ancak çok ekstrem durumlar haricinde sefer sonunda yapılan hesaplarda ortada
değişen pek bir şey olmadığıda bilinmektedir...
H.U.W (Hours under way) gemiyi iskeleye bağlantısını sağlayan tüm halatların gemiye
alınması ( Cast off all shore lines ) zamanı ile başlar,bu zaman kaptan tarafından ilgili zabite
kaydı için ya saatin ondalıkları yada 6 dakikanın katları şeklinde verilir ve yine varış
limanında eğer direkt limana girilmeden demirlenecek ve yanasma talimatı beklenecekse o
taktirde geminin o limana varışı olarak kabul edilecek demirleme zamanına kadar geçecek
suredir,yahut belli şartlar altında kiracı tarafından da talimatlandırılmış ise yine ayrılış
limanında tüm halatların gemiye alınmasıyla başlar ve yine varış limanında ilk halatın sahile
verilmesine kadar devam eden süredir.Eğer ki gemi yanaşma yerinin olmaması nedeniyle
varışta demirlemiş ise kiracıya bildirilecek varış bunker değerleri demirleme zamanındaki
gemide mevcut bunker miktarıdır.Geminin demirledikten sonra ve birkaç gün demirde
kaldıktan sonra yanaşmasından sonra gemide hesap edilen değerler değildir.Geminin
demirleyerek ilgili limana varışından ve varışta kiracıya cekilen telexte belirtilen yakıt
bunker değerleri varış değerleridir ve sonrasında yanaşma talimatıyla limana intikali
sırasında geminin harcayacağı bunkerler geminin Harbour(Port) Consuption’ına dahil edilir
ve limanda harcanan diğer harcamlara dahil edilerek Liman Harcamı şeklinde mütalaa
edilir.
Örneğin Basra Korfezinde Ras Tanura Terminalinin demir yeri ve yükleme yapılacak
şamandıra arsındaki mesafe şamandıra donüşleriyle beraber 20 deniz mili civarındadır ve bu
mesafe ağır yolla ilerleme ve şamandıra manevrası dahil tamamıyla geminin S.B.M
bağlanması yaklaşık 5 saati bulmaktadır ve bu radaki tüm harcamlar Port Consuption’a dahil
edilir.
H.U.W geminin kira şartları dahilinde öncelikle değişken giderlerinin ve buna bağlantılı
sabit giderlerinin hem gemi kiralayan hemde kiraya sunanlar tarafından kendileri açısından
hesaplanmasında kullanılır.Neticede gemi bu süre sonunda limanda kiracıya teslim koşulları
altında limana varmış gemi sıfatıyla teslim edilirken gemiyi kiralayan açısından, yada
zaman üzerine gemiyi kiralayanlar açısından geminin yüklü ve ballast seferleri dahil
toplamdaki verim hesaplamalarında kullanılır.

kademesi half ahead ‘dir.Bu andan sonra pilot alınıncaya kadar daha değişik hız
kademelerine düşülmüş olabilir ancak ilk düşülen hız kademesini takiben açıklama yapılır...
Eğer ki Stand-by full ahead’den Makineden de müseade alınarak direk slow ahead’e
düşülmüş olunsaydı o zaman ‘’ Slow ah’d eng. & used it ah’d var’ly ’’ denilebilirdi...
Burdaki ‘’ used it ah’d var’ly ‘’ ifadesi makinenin ileri yolda pilot alınıncaya kadar değişik
kademelerde kullanıldığına dair açıklayıcı bir ibaredir,ancak yinede herhangi bir zamanda
mesela 0801 de makine kademesi ne gibi bir bilgi size sorulursa Koprüüstü Bell Booktan
bakılır ki Bu da gemi jurnaliyle ayni delil hükmüne sahiptir...

varış zamanı geminin iskeleye tam olarak bağlandığı zaman olarak alınmıştır çunkü ilgili
örnekte kiracı talimatı bu şekildedir,yani gemiyi kiralayan için geminin o limana varış
zamanı tüm imkanlarıyla ilgili iskeleye tam olarak bağlandığı zaman olarak anlaşılacak ve o
şekilde de talimatlandırılmıştır...Ancak çoğu uygulamada gemi eğer demirlemeden direkt
olarak pilot alarak ilgili limana yanaşacak ise geminin pilotu aldığı vakit ilgili limana varış
(arrival) olarak kaydedilecektir...Eğer ki yanaşılacak iskelenin müsait olmaması dolayısıyla
gemi demire gidecek ise demirleme vakti ilgili limana varış vakti olarak kaydedilecektir.)

were sounded & found good condition,but afterward found slight dent on portside hull.
- Felt a shock on her bottom and listed to portside about 3 degrees.
- Ship righted herself soon,and proceeded down the stream.
- Made her fast to pier No.2 ,and employed a diver to inspect.
- The diver reported dent of about 40 cm at deepest in area of about 10 m2 on starbord bottom
plate at frame No.50-60
- Requested classification surveyor to inspect her sea worthiness.
- Above surveyor issued seaworthy certificate permitting navigation to next port.
- Stranded on SE coast of Pearl Id ( Id = Island )
- Sounded around her,and got the depth & bottom nature as follows :

- A heavy sea struck No.1 hatch tearing the tarpaulines off,and a large quantity of sea water
entered the hatch.
- While covering No.2 hatch,stevedore dropped one of weather deck shifting beams down to
the hold bottom.
- Owing to longshoreman’s (foreman) mishandling,No.3 port derrick bottom fell down on
deck.
- It caused to bend the middle part of the boom badly
- Received the damaged boom repaired by the stevedore.
- While loading logs in No.4 hatch lower hold,due to winch driver’s rough handling,one log
struck Mr.John. ( aged 32 ) on his left leg.Sent him to shore hospital by ambulance.
