High-quality white limestone

lumps are carefully selected

and classified to meet the

required standard before

transporting to our factory

where they will be under

visional check by QHSTONE’s

Quality Control staffs and

stockkeepers . Any dirty grey

layers outside the lumps

are peeled off completely.

Subsequently, all lumps are

washed and classified again

at factory stockyard before

production.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Washing, Jaw Crusher, Hammer, Feeding Silo

Limestone lumps less than 400 millimeters (mm) in

size are initially loaded into vibrating feeder. These

lumps are then washed and cleaned using a high-

pressure pump and nozzles before being crushed by

the jaw crusher and hammer mill. The calcium

carbonate chips size smaller than 5 mm are obtained,

loaded into bucket elevator, and then fed directly

into feeding silos.

Grinding Mill, Classifier

Through quantitative conveyor, all materials from

feeding silos are transported to grinding mill to be

ground into micron-sized powder. The particles with

qualified sizes are categorized and collected by the

classifier, then transferred to the automatic dust filter

system by a high capacity blower.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Automatic Filter 

Automatic Filter, which includes a high-capacity

blower and hundreds of filter bags operated by air-

compressor and automatic air valves, gathers all

materials at double valves and dosing screw. Then,

the materials are fed onto the automatic scale

before scaling and packaging, or transferred to store

silo by bucket elevator before being fed into stearic

acid coating machine.

Stearic Acid Coating Line

Boiled stearic acid from a tank and calcium

carbonate powder from silo are transferred to the 3-

cabin highspeed mixing machine where powder

particles are covered by stearic acid ratio at ratio of

0.8% - 1.2% depending on different particle sizes. The

stearic acid coated CaCO3 powder particles will be

collected to silo through dust filter system and pump.

QHSTONE calcium carbonate powder is tightly

controlled in all manufacturing processes by size,

color, and moisture. All products are strictly controlled

by the Quality Control Department with modern

laboratory equipments such as the British Malvern

Mastersizer 3000E laser diffraction particle size

analyzer, the Konica Minolta CR-410 whiteness

measurement chroma meter, the Ohaus MB45

moisture analyzer, etc. to ensure the highest quality

and uniform standard of CaCO3 powder production.

During QHSTONE ’s production process, CaCO3

powder is checked every hour to maintain size, color,

and moisture in accordance with specifications of

customers. Products which meet our strict standards

will be packed into PP or jumbo bags.

PACKAGING

QHSTONE follows the international standard for our packaging process, providing customers

with various packaging sizes tailored to their specific requirements and operations. Products

are packaged in different PP/PE bags: 25kg, 50kg, 500kg jumbo, 1000kg jumbo, etc.
