PERFORMANCE TASK FOR THE 3RD QUARTER

“ONE CLICK RELATIONSHIP”

Goal: Your task is to demonstrate an understanding of the different ecological

relationships found in an ecosystem.

Role: You are a Nature Photographer and you are invited into a photo exhibit where
you have to make a collection of all your favorite pictures taken from the nature.
You will explain the symbiotic relationship existing among the organisms.
You need to include also the roles of each organism. You should be able to
produce a creative output so that your audience will be informed and
entertained at the same time.

Audience: Other seventh graders and teachers.

Scenario: The challenge involves keen observation of the environment and awareness
of the common ecological relationships existing among the surrounding
organisms (actual examples of the different interactions).

Product: You will create a POP-UP ALBUM featuring the best shots of different
organisms taken around you. The pictures must manifest different ecological
relationships. There should be at least 2 examples per ecological
relationship/interaction.
