SUPPLY COMPANY KARACHI, PAKISTAN(KESC), 120MW x 3 FRAME 9E Gas Turbines
(Mark-VI e) with 200MW Steam Turbine of Harbin Electric China.(Emerson
Ovation Control). Steam Turbine has sea water cooling system.

> GULF EXPERIENCE:

* As a POWER PLANT OPERATOR with Dubai Aluminium Company Limited,
Dubai,
UAE. Dubai Aluminium Company has an aluminium smelter & Power Plant
with an installed capacity of 2500MW. (Worked from July 2007 to
April
2009)

Responsible for operation of:

> 1095 MW Combine Cycle Plant (6 X Frame 9E GE gas turbines-Mark-V

Control, 6 X CMI HRSGs, & 3 X Alstom steam turbines-ALSPA P320
Control).
> 495MW Combine Cycle Plant (2 X GT13E2 ALSTOM gas turbines-
EGATROL Control, 2 X CMI HRSG & ALSTOM steam turbine-ALSPA P320
Control).
> 170MW Gas turbine 13E2 with Co-generation HRSG.
> Responsible of remote operation 132 KV, 33 KV & 11 KV switchgear
(GE- SCADA).
> Responsible for ABB-SCADA controls for rectifier transformers
supplying pot lines 4, 5, 6, 7 & 9 and console controls for

> Deaeration system for All WHBs (Two Dearators interchangeable)

JOB DESCRIPTION
 > Operate the power generation equipment to enable the safe and
efficient supply of electric power to satisfy the requirements
of the DUBAL site and 3rd party customers.
> Operate the compressed air plant to enable the continuous
generation of Compressed air and the HRSG for uninterrupted
supply of steam to satisfy the DESAL operation needs.
> Ensured that all department personnel strictly adhere to all
safety policies, practices and procedures to minimise the risk
of accidents and injuries.
> Carry out high voltage switching from the control room, as
instructed by the Shift Manager.
> Carries out routine operational checks using data processor,
recorders etc. to evaluate performance of GT, ST & HRSG and
makes adjustment to maximise the efficiency of the plant.
> Monitors gas/distillate fuel and compressed air flow and
pressure, fire control panel and initiate actions according to
established requirements.

> More than 14 years experience of operation of Steam Turbine and Gas
Turbines (combined cycle) Power Plants.

> 03 years Experience in Operation of Steam turbine (110 MW) and

Boiler (375 Ton) of SKODA (CZECHOSLOVAKIA) located at Wapda
Thermal Power Station Guddu Pakistan. (1996 to 1999).

> 08 years Experience in Operation & Maintenance of 415 MW Combined

Cycle Power Plant (V.94.2) of SIEMENS (GERMANY) located at Wapda
Thermal Power Station Guddu Pakistan. (2000 to June 2007)

SUMMARY.

I have worked at Wapda Thermal Power Station Guddu Pakistan. I was

working at 415 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant (V.94.2 SIEMENS
GERMANY) on the post of Sub-Engineer and my duty was in the Control
Room of this unit. I was working as Power Operator with Dubai
Aluminium Company Limited(DUBAL) on Frame-9E Gas turbines with
Steam Turbine (combined cycle power plant) made by GE ALSTOM and on
 13E2 Gas Turbine made by Alstom, located at DUBAI,UAE. Presently I
am working as Control Room Operator at Karachi Electric Supply
Company Karachi, Pakistan, Bin Qasim Power Station 560MW Combined
cycle power plant.
