PRESENTE CONTINUO

El Presente Continuo o Presente Progresivo es un tiempo verbal que se utiliza

para expresar acciones que suceden en el mismo momento en que está ocurriendo
la acción determina.

Affirmative Sentences (Frases afirmativas)

Sujeto + verbo auxiliar ("to be") + gerundio ("-ing") + complements

Por ejemplo:

 I am speaking English. Yo estoy hablando inglés.

 You are reading a book.
 He is studying the lesson.
 She is buying a hat.
 It is raining.
 We are sleeping.
 You are dancing in the street.
 They are walking in the park.
Tú estás leyendo un libro.
Él está estudiando la lección.
Ella está comprando un sombrero.
Está lloviendo.
Nosotros estamos durmiendo.
Vosotros estáis bailando en la calle.
Ellos están caminando en el parque.

Negative Sentences (Frases negativas)

Sujeto + verbo auxiliar ("to be") + auxiliar negativo ("not") + gerundio ("-ing") +
complements

 He isn´t studying the lesson

Interrogative Sentences (Frases interrogativas)

Verbo auxiliar ("to be") + sujeto + gerundio ("-ing")?

 Is he studying the lesson?
