Unit Summary:

This Unit Plan will focus on building public speaking skills. It will emphasize the importance of communicating what we care
about and teach students how to express their thoughts and ideas through public speaking. The unit will start off with an
introduction to what a TED talk is. Students will build their speaking and communication skills throughout the unit. This will
improve their ability to present and speak to an audience in order to present their TED talk.
