The Company
TWS is a leading Lithium Battery solutions company headquartered in Hong Kong and Guangzhou with
multiple manufacturing facilities in China and South East Asia. TWS offers ODM and OEM solutions
manufactures battery packs for 3Cs, power bank, e-bikes, home appliance, medical devices and electric
vehicle segments. The company has sales and engineering offices located in North America, Europe and
Asia. TWS won market positioning as a technology leader in the hardware and software applications in
their field with customers’ recognition as the reliable strategic partner for Lithium Battery solutions.

The Role
Global Engineering VP / Director
Leads the functions of global engineering management, focus on the achievement of strategic business
growth via technology and people development that supports exponential revenue growth in next 3
years. Coordinates and optimize the global design engineering, application experts and FAE resources
together with the R&D center at Guangzhou. Team-working with the sales, product management, supply
chain management and operation functions to enhance the alignment in project management, pipeline
development, quality control as well as automated operations for product manufacturing.

This assignment owner also delivers the customer value proposition globally. Responsible for business
success and leadership positions in the market segment participated. Engineering VP is responsible for
the support of strategic account development with various platform roadmap determinations
addressing the market segments that TWS targets to be Number 1. Candidate with less experiences but
processing the strong potential can be consider as the Global Engineering Director.

Position Accountability
Develop Technology strategies for TWS by segment on growing the specific application globally
Lead the global engineering and FAE teams with professional managing system to delivery outputs
Predict the latest technology trend and build the resources for mid and long term application needs
Provide competitive 6 quarterly platform roadmap development in each segment served
Support strategic marketing function working with sales and PLDs to gather customer roadmaps
Implement customer specific strategic direction provided by PLDs to achieve commercial targets
Owner of project management function within the engineering concept and design stages
Owner of design cost saving and quality functions driving actions to meet customers’ samples
Perform competitive engineering analysis that cross examine the external and internal environment
Perform competitors benchmarking with PLDs that determines the value proposition of TWS
Inspire the sales and operation teams and achieve product line targets on cost, quality and delivery
Co-working with sales team deciding FAEs’ priority applications for strategic account customers
Support by analyze and improve the conversion rate from pipeline (NBOs) to design win
Lead and conduct business reviews in accordance with the company’s operating rhythm
Adequate contact with key stake holders of strategic accounts to lobby strategic supplier status
Develop the competences inside engineering teams achieve the target bench strength index
Put together the engineering system and tools for maximum engineering efficiency
Coach and mentoring the team members for leadership and technical competences

The role reports to the CEO directly and the team members under this role are: R&D Director,
Engineering Director and engineering managers in China, Korea, Europe and US as well as FAEs around
the regions.

Fluency in English and Chinese languages is essential; able to express accurately on technical terms
Native English speaker with fair Chinese literate level is also considered
