BlockWorks Hot Keys and Symbols

Hottest - Hot Keys Symbol Meaning


Asterisk – an asterisk to the left of the field means the field

Tab = next field or

“Add” buttons – mean an additional space, form, or
worksheet will be added
+ Add New Form

Shift Tab = previous field “Delete” buttons – Remove this entry from the form use
the “X” next to grid items
Paper icon – indicates an entry has been made in the

Required Entry - Entries must be made in these fields in

Optional Entry - Fields with one black dot indicate that
amounts will automatically carry from other forms if
the corresponding forms are program-generated.

Override Entry - Fields with two black dots indicate that

Add to Entry - Fields with a plus sign indicate that entries in
