Related NMPED Requirements: 30 semester hours in a combination of language arts, mathematics, science,
history, fine & performing arts, and modern, classical, and native language from the candidate's undergraduate
coursework. Endorsement area(s) are listed on p. 2 of this plan.

Teacher Education Program. It is my responsibility to apply for acceptance into the TEP. I understand that to get a regular NM
teaching license I must be a teacher of record in a public education accredited school for one year and I am responsible for
locating, securing, and maintaining this position.

change. It is the responsibility of the candidate to sign up for, take, and pass the state mandated exams. The alternative licensure program
will not be complete until the candidate has reported all passing scores to ENMU. In addition, if a candidate chooses a traditional student
teaching placement, all required exams must be completed prior to the student teaching (ELED 523/ELED 524) semester.
