i. I am a 4th year, graduating
Management Accounting student of
University of San Jose Recoletos
calibrated by quality of time and
value. Time for I am a deadline killer.
I am a kind of person who submits
outputs or finishes tasks given to me
by my instructor of team leader as
early as possible before the deadline
comes. A person of value for I
consider all the tasks and
responsibilities given to me deem
important no matter how big or small
it is for it provides something to the
growth or success of the
organization I am into in one way or
another.
ii. I also tried to work as an Office Clerk
in Human Resource Office of
Municipality of Barili, my hometown,
where I experienced preparing
payrolls by computing the number of
days the municipal employees are
present and their equivalent rates
with deductions for lates and
abscenses. I am also currently a
working student assigned in the
convent wherein I am serving the
priest-administrators of the university
where I am studying.
iii. I am also computer savvy. I know
how to manipulate Microsoft office
applications like Word, Excel and
Powerpoint. I am actually one
assigned in making the Financial
Aspect of our research or feasibility
study. I am also one assigned to
create letters and correspondence to
the people, offices or organizations
involved in our research.
iv. Lastly, I want to point out that I am a
person capable of doing job or task
even if not correlated with my
degree program as long as it can be
learned and manifested by careful
research and observation and I am
as competitive as a lion in the wild
that will do anything with integrity
and courage to win my food, that's
success actually.
v. I am hoping and confident that this
qualities will lead me being a part of
your company being an intern
supported by the background,
activities and experiences I have
accumulated in my high school and
college education.
2. What are your strengths?
a. Beside from God and my Family, I consider
my education my strength. Being in the
academe for almost 16 years, I have faced
and overcome challenges that mold me to
who I am right now sitting in front of you.
The values and skills of TIME
MANAGEMENT, EFFECTIVENESS AND
EFFICIENCY, PATIENCE, FLEXIBILITY
and PERSEVERANCE, aside from other
intangible positive forces I have within me.
This things, I believe, are my strengths.
3. What are your weaknesses?
a. I believe that my weakness is my being a
perfectionist. I tend to do things perfectly
and in accord to what has been planned
without taking into consideration the forces
that may affect the plans or tasks I need to
deliver. This has been my worst weakness
because I tend to forget that there are
things that cannot be controlled by my
hands and mind alone. I need to consider
things and make contingency plans. These
are actually my steps I am into right now
mitigating this weakness of mine.
4. What do you know about our company?
a. I have actually researched a few
information about your company. Its few
because of time constraint because of
midterms exam we had last week and the
research we are making. Well, Mercedes
Benz Group Services Philippines, Inc.-
Cebu Office is a Daimler Company, an
international organization, who provide
shared services and consulting to
Mercedes Benz Sales Organizations in
Asia Pacific Region and providing support
to Shared Service Center in Madrid, Spain.
And your vision is to "to provide state-of-
the-art Financial Administration,
Accounting, and Consultancy services
for all our DAIMLER Group subsidiaries
represented in the whole Asia Pacific
region, North America as well as back-
office support for our offices in Europe."
So far, this is what I am knowledgeable
about your company and I am looking
forward to knowing it more if I will be given
the chance to have my internship here.

a. Academic - Grading System

6. Do your under pressure?
a. Well I believe working under pressure or
not having a pressure is the same. There
might be additional tasks but as being part
of my responsibilities, I will find time to do it
as efficient and effective as I can. In this
situation, I can inject my time management
skills, balancing study and work, and my
flexibility skills.
7. Why should we hire you?
a. I might not be the best applicant to this
position but with the qualities, attributes,
skills, values, activities, achievements,
experiences and being open to learning
new things, I believe I can fit into the
position you are hiring for.
