and turn the hand out to palm up while striking angle #1 placing the stick on your lat
and disarm as you strike.

Receiver: Tali and check with left hand over the top of both sticks. Strike angle #7
and turn the hand out to palm up while striking angle #1 placing the stick on you hip
and disarm as you strike.

Forward triangle with angle 1&4
Forward triangle right side: Standing with lead side forward, slid the rear foot up
and step out at 45 degree angle, reverse the steps to starting position.
Forward triangle left side: Standing with lead side forward, step the rear foot
straight forward and drag the now rear foot up.

Reverse triangle with angle 4&1


Reverse triangle right side: Standing with lead side forward, pivot on your left foot
back at 45 degree angle.
Reverse triangle left side: Standing with lead side forward, Pivot on your right foot
back at 45 degree angle.

Extended forward triangle with angle 6&7


(same as regular forward triangle but with a squat added at the forward position.)

Extended reverse triangle with angle 6&7


(same as regular reverse triangle but with a squat added at the rear position.)

Cabellero with 1&4 or 6&7 (single, double, and triple)


Stand with lead side forward, step forward with lead foot and drag the rear foot up
to starting position.

Stand with lead side forward, take a cheater step with forward lead foot then take
a full step with the rear foot dragging the rear foot.

Hakbang pay was with 6&7 right and left side


Standing with lead side forward, Step out with the lead foot to the side and pivot on
the lead foot into the starting position.

Ilustrisimo half and one quarter


(Half) Standing with lead side forward, Step back with lead foot pivoting on rear
foot.
(Quarter) Standing with lead side forward, Swing your lead leg back and then bring
back to starting position.

Four corners with strikes


A: Shuffle out 3 times, shuffle back 3 times, step out 3 times, step back 3 times, and
Hakbang pay was. Complete 5 times.
B: Step out 3 times, shuffle back 3 times, Hakbang pay was. Complete 5 times.
C: 1/4 Ilustrisimo, Hakbang pay was. Complete 4 times right then 4 times left.
D: Hakbang pay was, 1/4 Ilustrisimo. Complete 2 times right, 4 times left then 2 times
right. *note when transitioning from left to right or right to left step into a pigeon
toe stance.

Footwork

Knee drill: with a forward triangle and standing with lead side forward and at the point of
the triangle. Step with the rear foot out to the left side of the triangle and knee with the
right leg. Step the right straight right and knee left. Step back with the left and change
step and repeat. (Left and right sides)

Squat drill: With a reverse triangle and standing with feet together at the point of the
triangle. Step right backwards and squat at the right point then step straight left and
squat. Step right forwards and squat and repeat. (Left and right sides)

Y footwork drill: Standing on the tail of the Y with lead side forward. Manaois footwork
forward then step back to feet together and step out with your left on the 45 degree. Then
step with your left straight back to the starting position.

Self-Defense Techniques
#1 Feeder: Step-in Reverse Punch
Receiver: Middle cover left and check left, grind under right grabbing wrist turning
the arm so the crook of the elbow is facing upwards. Then left elbow strike his arm
at the elbow in an upwards motion. With the same striking arm reach across the
face slapping the ear and rake back hiding a right elbow strike. With a chopping grab
of the brachial turn the head and knee strike the head. As your leg comes down
press the head down and chop left then right to the back of the head. Once they
are on the ground sidekick to the head.
#2 Feeder: Step-in Reverse Punch
Receiver: Begin like #1 but after the elbow strike to the head continue through and
elbow the kidneys rebound back up to continue on as #1.
#3 Feeder: Step-in Reverse Punch
Receiver: Start like #2 with the elbow to kidney then continue the arm around and
knee through to a sweep. Finish with a jumping stomp.
#4 Feeder: Step-in Reverse Punch
Receiver: Middle cover left and check left, grind under right grabbing wrist turning
the arm so the crook of the elbow is facing upwards. Then left elbow strike his arm
at the elbow in an upwards motion. With the left hand feed out the arm so your
inside as the arm clears right elbow strike upwards and rake down. Continue the
motion as you knee through in to a sweep. Finishing with a jumping stomp.
#5 Feeder: Step-in Reverse Punch
Receiver: Right bolo punch inside as you check left then feed down the arm and
right backhand. With the left snake the arm as the right hand turns the head and
knee strike the head. After the knee strike press down and withdraw a left and
right chop to the back of the head. Once they are on the ground sidekick to the
head.
#6 Feeder: Step-in Reverse Punch
Receiver: Middle cover right and check right, check left. Then backfist right
followed by a left ridge hand. As the left ridge hand strikes circle step around to a
right elbow strike to the back of the head and clinch up with a choke.
#7 Feeder: Step-in Reverse Punch
Receiver: Middle cover right and check right, check left. Elbow strike in and feed
the arm down and out. Clinch up into a neck crank and hip throw.
#8 Feeder: Step-in Reverse Punch
Receiver: Middle cover right and check right, check left. Elbow strike in and snake
the head down into a front headlock. Continue the motion into an uppercut like punch
to a neck brake.
#9 Feeder: Step-in reverse punch and cross left.
Receiver: Middle cover right and check right grind left inside. Check right grind left
outside and strike right cross. Feed the arm out and knee strike into a rotary throw
and lock up into a figure four lock.
#10 Feeder: Step-in reverse punch and cross left.
Receiver: Middle cover right and check right grind left then check left grind right
staying on the inside. Then shoot the right hand into a front headlock. Left punch
twice and then neck crank out. Knee strike in the back drop them down followed with
right punch twice.
