1. Register in a Google Drive document in order to participate in a


synchronic debate via skype to demonstrate your ability to
support your ideas about a controversial topic, strengthening
also your sociolinguistic skills. (Select topic-date-hour) – The
registration will be sent through a course message-

2. Watch the video about a controversial topic that is posted in the


google drive you registered.

3. On the selected day, you are to present and defend your ideas
verbally, accurately and fluently via skype, following these
steps:
a. Presenting a two-minute summary of the video and/or
reading.
b. Organizing and making a five-minute verbal presentation on
pros or cons of a topic assigned by the tutor during the
debate.
c. Defending and debating your ideas regarding your assigned
topic.
d. Answering and asking questions to your debate peers.
e. Expressing a minute-conclusion on the debate.
