These forms will have the lesson titles for each grade level listed on them. Opt-out forms need to
signed by a parent and sent back to the classroom teacher by November 14.
The 7th-12th grade students will have a guest presenter – SEBASTIAN D’AMICO, for their “Protecting All God’s Children” lessons.
Their lessons are on Internet Safety and Pornography; and they will have these lessons in the Knights Hall on November 28 at 7 PM.
Sebastian D’Amico would like for parents to join him and their children that evening. PLEASE COME AND LISTEN to this important

More than 70% of all adults neglect to make out a will; many do not keep it up to date. Think about
getting yours done or reviewed. You will be doing your heirs a service. In addition, consider
helping ST. JOSEPH PARISH through a bequest. For more information, contact the parish office.

We are still asking for volunteers to fulfill officer positions. We are seeking a Vice President, assistant treasurer, and
assistant secretary. Open your heart to grace, it’s a fulfilling service to church and God. Contact any St Anne’s Officer or
feel free to drop a note in the weekly collection. Thank you. …..Kim Irwin
Less than ½ of the parishioners have paid their $30 social support. An envelope was provided in your
March packets. If you have misplaced your envelope, please make check payable to “St. Joseph
Church”, and place in a plain envelope in the collection (Mark “Social Support” on envelope). This
money offsets grocery supplies for the Festival and BBQ and funeral dinners. PLEASE & THANK YOU!
Lots of help will be needed to make this mission successful! Please look for ways you can help use your time and talents to help.
A sign up will be in the back of church in the coming weeks!

MARRIAGE MINUTE
A Little Goes a Long Way!
In this weekend’s first reading, a destitute widow provides a cup of water and a small loaf
of bread for the prophet Elijah, and her generosity is rewarded with a miracle. Her meager
offering sustains them until the famine ends.
Like the widow, when we offer our spouse a small kindness from our limited stock,
miracles often occur. Dr. Greg Popcak stresses “caretaking in conflict” as one of the hallmarks of
a successful marriage. Next time you are arguing with your spouse:
• Hold hands
• Offer to bring him/her a drink or snack
• Avoid placing blame
• Use polite language
These difficult things pay off, and the miracle is that your spouse begins to believe that
your relationship is more important than any issue that comes between you!
