The year 2018-19 began
rejoicing the 71st birthday of
Pakistan Jashn e Pakistan.
Games were arranged by
each class with gusto!!!
Students’ delight and glee
was worth watching.

 Honour Roll
Recognition of academic
achievement is a regular
feature at the school. Honour
Roll distribution ceremony for
high achievers for the academic
year 2017-18 was held on the
28 August. Students were
delighted to receive shields,
cups and certificates.

Eid Milan Party
gave a pleasurable
get together time
to the students.
Eating their
favourite meals
with friends from
all grades.

The highlight of the academic year 2017-18 was the CAIE result.94

 Democracy Rules
Election is a time which
everyone looks forward to.
Followed by a series of steps,
including, interviews,
nominations, speeches and
canvassing rounds; a Student
Council was finally elected by
the students ,for the
students.Waania Tahir being
the President, Syed Rayyan
Azfer as the Vice President ,
Sohaib Sajid ,Nabiha
Kureishy,Alyshaan Bana and
Aly Anser as Prefects.

 Oath Taking Ceremony
Oath Taking Ceremony was held
on 17 September, Student Council
members were conferred gowns
and they pledged to take up
responsibilities with honesty and
dedication.

 Social Services
Developing compassion is
imperative from a very young
age and our students of OI
and OII went for their Social
Services week to Ida Rieu,
Kidney Centre, ACELP, Child
Aid and SRSC. Like every year,
this year as well it provided
students an opportunity to
witness the sufferings of the
sick and the underprivileged
of our community, evoking
empathy.

 Defence Day
Defence Day was celebrated on
September 06,Waania Tahir,
Rumaisa Faysal and Humnah
Razzak delivered speeches .They
highlighted the history of the day
and paid tribute to the martyrs.

 Science Fair
‘I am curious’ was the
theme of Science Fair held
on September 14,2018. It
engaged the students
looking for answers for
their questions. Displays
and projects were planned
and working harmoniously
in group they produced
awesome presentations.

results declared are as
follows.
First position from grade7
was secured by the
project Night Time
Impression; grade 8
Treasures of Earth; grade
9 Dolly’s Hair.
Second position from
grade 7 was acquired by
the project Fireworks;
grade 8 Barren Planet;
grade 9 Flip Flop till you
Drop.
Third position from grade
7 was clinched by the
project Each Drop Counts;
grade 8 Triangle of
Mystery; grade 9 Slippery,
12 Slithery what you do?
 Common Wealth Essay Competition
Common wealth Essay Competition results were announced in
September and out of the 12000 participants ,five of our students
clinched the silver and bronze medals. Maheen Killedar, Amna
Asad and Arfah Ahmed grabbed the silver medals while, Omar
Sabzwari and Rimel Khan procured bronze medals. We look
forward to more winners next year. All students who participated
will receive a participation certificate.
