Las Cuatro Estaciones
Las Cuatro Estaciones
"The Four Seasons", are 4 concerts that Antonio Vivaldi composed dedicated to:
spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each of these four concerts is divided into
three parts or movements: the first part is fast (Allegro), the second slow (Adagio)
and the third fast (Presto). In each concert aspects of the different times of the
year are described: the song of the birds and the murmur of the spring sources.
The suffocating heat of summer and storms. The farmers dancing celebrating the
harvest and the hunters in autumn. And finally, the cold and the rain, the shivers
and the chattering of teeth in winter.
