COB Reports

• T24 Reports are broadly of two types


– Statutory Financial reports created based on balances
consolidated from accounting entries and balance files
• CRF and CRB reports based on Central reporting files and Central
reporting base
• Reports like General Ledger, Profit and Loss statements
– Other reports created based on information from one or more
Application / Table information. They could contain Financial
and / or non financial information
• Reports like Limits expiring, Limits over drawn

Entries affecting Account balances are stored in STMT.ENTRY file by the


system – be it Customer account or Internal account
Entries affecting P & L heads are stored in CATEG.ENTRY file. In T24, we
do not open `accounts’ for profit and loss heads.
All other entries are stored in RE.CONSOL.SPEC.ENTRY

COB Reports

• When user logs into T24, a User Menu is displayed


• By clicking on Finance sub menu, we can access sub menus
– View Ledger Reports
– View Transaction Journals
• By using View Ledger Reports, we can view reports produced
during previous day’s COB
– In Model Bank, we can view Company wise reports (Branch
wise), by using Selection of COMPANY.ID
– Financial reports CRF.MBGL, CRF.MBPL which collate
information from Central reporting files, which show only
balances
– Financial report CRB.MBGL gives additional information from
underlying accounts and contracts like interest rate, exchange
rate etc

Reports can be accessed Company wise. These are standard financial


reports.
CRB reports have select additional information.
MBGL reports is Model Bank General Ledger report.
GLSHORT is an abridged General Ledger
GLSHORT.CCY reports is currency wise split report

View Ledger Reports – Closing balance and Movement type reports

A report can be designed to have only closing type balances or to show intra
day movements like Opening, Debit, Credit and Closing balances.

T24 is Customer centric software. Descriptive details of Customer are all


stored at one place – CUSTOMER record.
All other applications get linked to this.
By this, any change in Customer details are required to be done only at one
place.
CUSTOMER record gets pick up values from several static tables, which are
pre defined to suit individual bank’s way of reporting or recording
information.
Reports, even when designed to pick information from business applications
can always get relevant information from underlying CUSTOMER Records.
Hence, Customer wise profitability or exposure will in turn lead to industry
wise or sector wise details also.
