zuela.
In October 2009, FBI
agents seized computers
and other evidence from
the home of Dr. P. Leo-
nardo Mascheroni, a Los
Alamos, New Mexico
physicist.
When interviewed after the
seizure, Mascheroni
claimed that a man from
the Venezuelan embassy in
Washington gave him a
$20,000 down payment and
a promise of $800,000
more to create a blueprint
for the development of a
nuclear weapons program
in Venezuela.
Venezuela has one of the
largest uranium reserves in
the world and is partnering
with Iran and Russia to
develop and harvest them.
Russia and Venezuela have
signed a nuclear coopera-
tion agreement and Russia
is now building a nuclear
reactor in Venezuela simi-
lar to the one they just
completed in Iran. Vene-
zuela’s President Hugo
Chavez is allowing Iran to
establish a business base
there with $30 billion to
$40 billion of Iranian
money.
