Unit 1 – Activity 2 - Migration

Statement of Inquiry: ​Population patterns impact, and are impacted by, access to
resources, the distribution of those resources, culture and identity.

● Explain the various push/pull factors that affect migration, emigration and
immigration.
● Using current events, describe push/pull factors of migration occurring
around the world today.

Guidelines:
● This activity will be completed in groups of​ 2​ and individually illustrated on your weebly page.
● Create a new page on Weebly under ​Unit 1​ and label the page ​Migration​.
● The title of your new web page should be:​ Activity 2 - Migration
● On your individual Google Doc, discuss and answer the following inquiry questions with your
group member. All questions should be ​individually​ illustrated on your Weebly page. Illustrate
your answers in a manner that suits you (videos, posters, written, moovly, powtoon etc.). Be a
risk-taker!
● Your your webpage should be neat and organized in an orderly manner.
● All sources should be cited on the bottom of your web page in MLA format using Noodle tools.
