Greetings!

This is in reference to the letter of invitation sent by the Philippine Statistical Research and Training
Institute or PSRTI, a government agency established for the purpose of conducting relevant social
researches in the country and providing trainings and workshops to different interested sectors.

In line with the invitation, I would like to respectfully request permission to attend the five-day (5-
day) training on Basic Statistics 1: Descriptive Statistics of the PSRTI on April 16-20, 2018. Further,
may I request for financial assistance for the registration fee amounting to twelve-thousand and six
hundred pesos (P12,600.00). My attendance would be an excellent opportunity to enhance and
develop my research capability as Research Unit Head of CHMT.
