General Objective:

 The student will be able to use English naturally in real situations showing
competence in all the aspects related with the development of proficiency in a
language.

Specific Objectives:

 Develop proficiency in the phonological area of the language, which involves
pronunciation, intonation and fluency.
 Improve the knowledge and practice in the semantic aspect, which involves using
vocabulary accurately and according to the context, situation and register of
speech.
 Use phrases, fixed expressions, idiomatic expressions, collocations and phrasal
verbs naturally in accordance with the communication context.
 Develop proficiency in the main aspects of syntaxes which will lead to a correct use
of grammatical structures in real situations both written and spoken.
 Comprehend written and oral texts with basic and complex language.
 Produce oral and written speech using the correct grammatical structures and
vocabulary according with the context and register.
