In 1998 I witnessed border patrol agents pull-over a bus that I rode. They apprehended a young Mexican worker during my regular 6:30 am commute on highway 101 during its southbound route towards UTC (while a student at UCSD). That route in particular, during the early morning weekday hours, transports many workers to nearby hotels (custodial work) and to plant nurseries/fields (farm labor). Today I translated my original 'Spanglish' version into Spanish and English.
