4.1 Introductory Review Questions: What are plates? Plate boundaries?
Activity
4.2 Activity Group students into three, each will be assigned to a type of plate boundaries. Let them
write what they have known regarding the plate boundary assigned to them. Make them
consolidate their ideas by group, then prepare for a big group sharing.
4.3 Analysis Guide Questions:
1. What are the characteristics of each type of plate boundaries?
2. Can you name some plates as an example of each type? What are these?
4.4 Abstraction Short discussion on important concepts and clarifications of misconceptions from the
sharing of the students.
