PMI® Talent Triangle Alignment Initiative (Phase 3) for R.E.P.s


Step-By-Step Instructions

Requirements: You must be a designated Provider Representative in the PMI CCRS for your R.E.P. organization. If you are not, please
read “How to Become a Provider Representative” section in the CCRS Provider User Guide.

Helpful Aids: All of the CCRS Provider Representative functions, (with screen shots and tips), can be found in the CCRS Provider User
Guide (not the CCRS User Guide – this other guide is for practitioners). This CCRS Provider User Guide is your source for instructions.

As a designated “Provider Representative” for your R.E.P. organization, log into the PMI Continuing Certification Records

System (CCRS) (https://ccrs.pmi.org/search), using your pmi.org username and password.

Click the option “Change Information on your Existing Activities” on the left hand navigation bar.
• Your catalog of activities (for example: Active Activities, Retired activities, Rejected activities, etc.) will appear on your

o You may click on any of the 4 sub-headers within the catalog, to sort accordingly (You can sort by Activity #,
Activity Title, PMI Standard, or by Age)

Manually allocate PDU values to each of the Talent Triangle skill areas: Technical , Leadership , and Strategic for each

active activity and any activities retired after 1 December 2014 .

Confirm new activity type is accurate.

Technical PDUs are based on the technical content of the activity; therefore, Technical PDU values may vary by PMI certification.

Leadership PDUs will be allocated across multiple PMI certifications by the CCR System (CCRS) automatically. For example, if your activity awards PDUs for
the PMP and the PMI-SP, the same amount of Leadership and Strategic PDUs will automatically be applied to both certifications.

Strategic/Business management PDUs will be allocated across multiple PMI certifications by the CCR system (CCRS) automatically. For example, if your
activity awards PDUs for the PMP and the PMI-SP, the same amount of Leadership and Strategic PDUs will automatically be applied to both certifications.

Each R.E.P. will be given a designated 2 week window in which to comply with Phase 3 (Align). If an R.E.P. is non-responsive within this designated 2 week
timeframe your activities will not be aligned to the PMI® Talent Triangle skill areas and your students will only be awarded ‘general education’ PDUs. These
general education PDUs cannot be moved/changed to a Talent Triangle skill area once they are claimed by your student.
