Use the nearest value on data tables. You do not need to interpolate.
Note not all parts will have the same weighting.

You are on a factory visit to a plant for food products. Rushing through the
factory, you hear that a vapor compression cycle with refrigerant HFC-134a as
the working fluid is being used. You see that they use a throttle valve as part
of the system and that one part of the cycle is running at 0.32 MPa and another
part of the cycle is running at 1.6 MPa. If the compressor is 80% efficient and
throttle, condenser, and evaporator are working ideally in a typical vapor
compression cycle,

We have waste incinerator that converts waste fuel into work. The maximum
temperature in the boiler is 400oC, the turbine has 100% saturated vapor as
the exhaust, and the condenser operates at 75 kPa using steam as the working
fluid. Assume the work done by the pump is negligible and the turbine is
adiabatic and ideal
a) Sketch your cycle on a T-S diagram with appropriate labels. Label the
entrance of the condenser as 1, the entrance of the pump as 2, the entrance of
the boiler as 3, and the entrance to the turbine as 4.
b) Determine the boiler pressure.
c) What is the work generated?
d) Determine the thermal efficiency of the process.
e) We can increase the thermal efficiency by dropping the condenser temperature
but what problems might we encounter if we drop try it to very low
temperatures?
You are offered an opportunity to invest in a device that will split high pressure feed
air stream (p1 = 1.5 bar, T1 = 30oC) into two streams, each with ½ the molar flowrate
as the inlet stream. One of these is at –150oC and the other stream consists of hot air
at 210oC. Assume that pressure of both exit streams is 1 bar. No other input from the
surroundings is required, and there is no other impact on the surroundings. Assume air
is an ideal gas and has Cp = 7/2 R and Cv = 5/2 R.
