PANEL DESCRIPTION
GEAR / DOOR POSITION INDICATIONS OVERHEAD PANEL
• MLG DOWN LK Indicator (DC ESS BUS), con-
nected to SYS 3 microswitches and proximity
detectors. When DOWN LK Lights are green the
Main Landing Gear is downlocked.
• GEAR/DOOR POSITION Indicator (DC NORM
BUS), connected to SYS 2 microswitches and
proximity detectors. Lights operate the same as
CENTER PANEL GEAR/DOOR POSITION Indi-
cator.

CENTER PANEL GEAR/DOOR POSITION Indicator

(DC ESS BUS), connected to SYS 1 microswitches and
proximity detectors.
DOOR light (amber)
• Door not closed and locked.
UNLK light (red)
• Gear not locked in selected position or gear not
up-locked with gear lever in neutral position.
Light (green)
• Gear down and locked.

WARN TEST Switch

Simulates a gear not down and locked condition.
WARNING ARROW illuminates accompanied by ECAM
400 warning.

POSITION DET gered so a "good" indication on either SYS guarantees

a safe gear.

If one system indicates "bad", selecting POSITION DET
BRK FAN Switch to the normally indicating SYS:
• Avoids gear not down and locked warning.
• Allows gear retraction if gear interlock is experi-
enced on retraction.
