Welcome!

AIM English 7 will be a 

challenging and rigorous course for 
all students as we AIM to reach all 
levels of honors students and push 
them to their limits! HOWEVER, all of 
your teachers are here to support you 
and guide you in the right direction!  
This will be challenging, but we will 
have a ton of fun along the way! 
 
For your assignment, you will be 
conducting three interviews of three 
different individuals to gather 
information regarding their background 
(family and origin) as well as how 
they have developed as individuals and 
how their contributions to society 
date back to their childhood. There is 
no right or wrong way to approach is… 
it’s the product that counts! 
 
So… interview three people and find plenty of juicy information regarding your 
family and that individuals history. Also ask about their current situation in 
regards to work and personal time… don’t go too deep. Then through a well 
developed form of media, describe how one's upbringing defines them as an 
individual! CREATIVITY IS KEY… something you’ll hear us say all the time, is what 
separates us from others and differentiates between success and failure. There is 
no rubric for this project, or any project we will do in AIM as the only two 
things we will ever look at is Presentation and Expression of Knowledge as well 
as Creativity. We know this is a BROAD topic… and there really no restrictions or 
limitations… but if you do need any help let one of us know through email! Since 
this is your first creative project in AIM, it is OKAY to ask many questions and 
possibly not even understand what this project is asking for… but all we ask is 
you use your interpretation and your creativity and develop something AMAZING!!
