RECYCLING

WHAT IS RECYCLING?

Recycling is a process where the raw materials that make up the materials we use
in everyday life such as paper, glass, aluminum, plastic, etc., once they have
finished their useful life cycle, are transformed again into new materials.

WHAT WE CAN RECYCLE

-IN THE YELLOW CONTAINER

PLASTIC
Reduce their consumption, reuse and recycle are the three basic actions to reduce
their impact, since plastic takes about 700 years to degrade. Therefore, it is
important to deposit the water bottles, detergent, shampoo bottle or potato bags in
the yellow container.
BRICK
We can also recycle the milk or juice brick by depositing them in the yellow container and
thus get them a second life.

CANS
This type of packaging is always present in our kitchen. Who does not have a can of soda
or canned food in the fridge? The cans are made of aluminum and can be recycled an
unlimited number of times. To the yellow container!

-IN THE BLUE CONTAINER

PAPER AND PAPERBOARD

Magazines, old newspapers, cereal boxes, shoes ... everyone should go to the blue container
to be recycled and help reduce overexploitation of natural resources.
GLASS
This material can be reused through a waste washing process or through its smelting and
can be recycled 100% an indefinite number of times. For this we must separate them from
the rest of materials. To the green container!

PILES AND BATTERIES

We can find them daily in the remote control of the TV, the mouse of the computer or in
the razor and we should never throw them away with the rest of the waste. They have
highly polluting components, so it is very important to take them to the hazardous waste
containers that we have closer to home or to the clean point.
