Rahasyatrahasaram, Vedanta Deepam,Veda Bhashya, Vedangasetc.,
Scriptures and works of Srimad Bhagavad Bhashyakara, Swami Desikan,
Azhagiyasingars and other eminent scholars.
It is also engaged in processing, collec ng and digi zing rare, palm leaf
manuscripts related to Vedic and shastra texts of Srivaishnava [Visistadvaita]
Sampradaya.
About the workshop:
Vedanta Desika - Swami Vedanta Desika or ThoopulNigamaanthaDesikan
(1268 AD -1369 AD)was a Sri Vaishnava Acarya who espoused Bhagavad
Ramanuja's system of Vishistadvaita and established forhimself an important
place next only to SriBhashyakara, in the Indian philosophical domain. This
master teacher, born in a village called Thoopul near Kanchipuram, in
TamilNadu, in the lineage of great teachers, is a mul facetedpersonality. He
also finds a pride of place in the comity of illustrious poets who have
enrichednot only Sanskrit language, but also Tamil, Manipravalam and

Objec ve:
To popularize ancient Indian Sastraic texts for apprecia on /awareness
/acquaintance of current genera on Indians, to enable a proper evalua on of
Knowledge Enterprise in the country from Times immemorial, covering very
subtle and minute, cri cal analysis,as the available western/foreign narra ves
are all woefully short in authen city, originality and intent. Many are counter-
produc ve meant to condemn/undermine original and pioneering
contribu ons from Bharat.
In such a scenario, Parankushachar Ins tute of Vedic Studies (Regd.),
Bangalore, ac ve for over two decades in Vedic Heritage preserva on,
propaga on and Research/publica ons, wishes to conducta 6-day workshop
of Text reading sessions on a rare Mimamsa Text, namely, Sesvara Mimamsa of
Sri Kavitarkikasimha, Sarvatantrasvatantra, Vedanta Desika, during the current
th
750 Birth anniversary year of the great Logician-Philosopher.(Sesvara
Mimamsa is a commentary on Jaimini's Purva Mimamsa Sutras, available only
for first two pada-s of the first chapter [in all for 85 sutras)
