Chile cierra alegatos en La Haya: "Bolivia ha presentado un caso de

hipérbole y distorsión"

Con la ronda de cierre de Chile, termina la fase oral del proceso. La

Corte Internacional de Justicia entrará en periodo de reflexión
sobre un fallo que podría conocerse a fin de año.

"Bolivia ha presentado un caso de hipérbole y distorsión".

Así lo aseguró el agente chileno Claudio Grossman al cerrar los
alegatos en que Chile respondió a los argumentos de Bolivia para
probar la supuesta obligación en torno a una salida al mar.

De esta forma se termina la fase oral del litigio y la corte entrará en

periodo de reflexión y deliberación. Una vez que se logre mayoría
se conocerá el fallo, lo que podría ocurrir a finales de 2018. Pese a
todo, no hay una fecha específica ya que la Corte decide sus
tiempos.

With the closing round of Chile, the oral phase of the process ends.
The International Court of Justice will enter into a period of reflection
over a failure that could be known at the end of the year.

Assured the Chilean agent Claudio Grossman when at closing the
allegations in which Chile responded to the arguments of Bolivia to
prove the supposed obligation about an exit to the sea.

By this way the oral phase of the litigation ends and the court will
enter on a period of reflection and deliberation.
Once the majority is reached, the failure will be known, which could
happen at the end of 2018. In spite of everything, there is no specific
date since the Court decides its times.
