The Prospect of China’s Economic Growth

In my opinion, the prospect of China’s economy will absolutely keep growing in the following at
least 20 years, the reasons are as follows:

First, innovation has been the biggest economy engine, which is initiated by central government
of China. Currently the central government of China strives to encourage innovation and creation
from all walks of life all over China. Last week, President Xi held a innovation conference and
addressed to a great deal of scientists and technicians from China’s top institutes to motivate
them invent, innovate bravely. At the same time, Prime Minister Li Keqiang has advocated
“National Innovation, People’s Start-up (大众创新、万众创业)” to inspire youth to have business
start-up and be creative recently. Therefore, the innovation atmosphere has been set up
nationwide in China.

Second, China has been leading in some hi-tech fields, such as high-speed train, cell phone
payment, online shopping and sharing bicycles, which is considered China’s New Four Inventions
(the old Four Great Inventions of ancient China were gunpowder, papermaking, printing and
compass respectively ).

Third, China has invested a lot of capitals in AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Big Data Clouding
research and development. As everyone knows, Alibaba, the world leading B2B and C2C
eCommerce group, is currently recruiting graduate from world-top universities, like Moscow
University, to research AI, robot, and big data clouding. Frankly speaking, Xiong’an New District
(雄安新区), which is located in the north of China, near China’s capital Beijing, will be built as a
world-model intelligent city. Can you imagine? The new Capital Airport near the Xiong ’an New
District will be built as the world-largest, the most intelligent airport in the world! Meanwhile,
Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone (长三角经济区), which is located in South of China,
connecting Canton, Hong Kong and Shenzhen etc, one of the most economic developed zones in
China, is currently being upgraded in all areas including transportation, logistics, education, taxes
preferential, laws and so on.

Forth, Chinese Central Government, lead by ambitious and respected President Xi, has drawn a
blueprint for the compatible, harmonious and fast development for at least the next 30 years,
which is 2050. Without the threat of being stopped by a another party elected leadership, China’s
economic blueprint is going to be fulfilled whole-heartedly toward the same target one
generation after another generation, just as President Xi said, “Never forget why you started,
your mission will be accomplished. (不忘初心，方得始终。)”

Fifth, China is unwaveringly propelling the process of “One Belt, One Road Initiative” which was
proposed by President Xi and is of course primarily led by China since Chinese market is the
biggest one among these countries. One Belt One Road Initiative involves so many countries
including Asia and Europe nations, so the trade among these countries will boost the vitality of
the regional market. As we all know, China has invested billions of money in building harbors,

ports, roads, railways among these nations to connect them together to better local people’s life.

settle down in China, and of course tourism will be thriving when wild animals choose to habitat
in the better living environment.

Tenth, China is promoting poverty elimination battle nationwide, which will contribute greatly to
human being’s poverty elimination in history. The target is all the poverty in China will be
eliminated by the end of 2020. As the process of this battle is proceeding, more materials are
demanded in the market, such as infrastructure.

Eleventh, supply-side structure reform is being handled by Chinese central government recently,
transformation and upgrading, especially manufacturing industry, is well being propelled step by
step. This means that great opportunities are there because many things need to be done by

corporations and government.

Twelfth, China is full of abundant human resources. As we all know, China has 1.3 billion
population and several years ago, the second-child policy was issued by central government to
supplement the aged society, thus, China will not be lack of human resources basically.

Thirteenth, China has a high money deposit rate, which means China has a potential big market
for people’s consumption demand. Chinese domestic demand is becoming higher and higher
since the numbers of the middle class is increasing dramatically in recent years. And Chinese
people have a good habit, which is to deposit part of the salary into their bank in case of
responding some emergency issues.

Fourteenth, Chinese nationality is famous for hardworking. If we want the economy thrive, we
need people to go to work, to take bus, to take train, to have meal, to consume, at the same time,
we need people to produce products, so the whole economy will be thriving. Since Chinese
people are very hardworking, so they always keep doing things, as a result, the thriving economy
will be cultivated by this way of working attitude and behavior.

To sum up, will China lead the world economically in the future? Judging from the analysis above,
