Your task:
➢ Your task is to write an information report on the similarities and differences of an
animals natural and simulated zoo habitat.
➢ You are to link your finding to the importance its habitats characteristic play in its
survival.
➢ You are to present your report in week 10 and are to construct a digital PowerPoint
to accompany your presentation.

 Choose an animal that is both wild and domestically kept in a zoo
 Complete the Graphic organiser on the animal’s characteristics and general
information
 Draw a labelled diagram of the animal’s natural environment
 Attend the Field Study trip and complete the booklet
 Draw and label the animals simulated habitat
 Include any new information found from the field study in the graphic organiser and
additional notes
 Complete the Venn Diagram on the similarities and differences of the animal’s
habitats (natural and simulated)
 Right a paragraph on the importance the animal’s habitat is on the animal’s survival
and why?
 Complete the Information report template and write a draft
 Edit your draft and progress so far using the editing check list
 Construct a PowerPoint with the key information from the report to accompany
your oral presentation in week 10
 Participate in peer and teacher conferencing to receive feedback and make any final
adjustments.
 Email the final report and PowerPoint to your teacher
