What do you hope to change about the education system? I need to know
what needs to be done before I can come up with the solution.

Why do you want to be a school board trustee? Because my son is in

education, I thought I’d give it a fling. I thought I’d like to do some public
service.

What education issue is on your radar, and why? I am directing my

attention to the currently All Day Learning program. Reasons for this
interest are the Ministry's lack of funding of the mandatory program and the
potential for issues to arise that affect families, their childcare subsidy
funding and other underlying but hidden issues

What do you hope to change about the education system? My goal is for
transparency and accountability at all levels. As a trustee one can set
examples and expectations for transparency and accountability throughout
the Board.

Why do you want to be a school board trustee? Outside of the issues

already named above, I feel that it is important to have an array of trustees to
make up the components of a diverse Board. I feel that I bring a hands on
approach as I have children attending a school with in the Board. I also bring
the Social Work approach based on my full time employment. I do feel that
what I offer compliments the current Board direction.
