microzonificación sísmica

Yo pienso que la tecnología nos ayuda mucho en la ingeniería civil por lo podría decir que la tecnología
es buena para la evolución y la seguridad del ser humano.

Les voy a hablar sobre un nuevo estudio de suelos llamado microzonificación sísmica que sirve para ver
los estratos de suelos en los que se va a construir una edificación.

Si se desea construir una edificación grande como un rascacielos se necesita este estudio ya que la
cimentación es profunda, y se tiene que ver si el suelo tiene una capacidad suficiente para poder
sostener esta edificación, y si no, hay que mejorar el suelo.

En la universidad de Cuenca se están realizando estos estudios mediante dispositivos llamados

megáfonos y sismógrafos que miden las velocidades del suelo y de esta en una gráfica mostrarnos como
está constituido los estratos del suelo y que tipo de suelo es.

Este es muy apropiado ya que nos da un resultado del suelo más profundo que un estudio de suelo
normal, también este método es usado por los mineros para encontrar minas, lo malo es que es muy
costoso y para realizarlo se necesita una estructura demasiado grande que pueda solventar el gasto sin
perjudicarlo lo que es muy difícil por la economía actual del país.

If you want to build a large building like a skyscraper you need this study because the foundation is deep, and you
have to see if the soil has sufficient capacity to sustain this building, and if not, you have to improve the soil.

In the University of Cuenca, these studies are being carried out using devices called megaphones and seismographs
that measure the velocities of the soil and in a graph show how the soil extract are constituted and what type of soil
it is.
This is very appropriate because it gives us a deeper soil result than a normal soil study, also this method is used by
miners to find mines, the bad thing is that it is very expensive and to do it you need a structure too big that can solve
the expense without harming it which is very difficult for the current economy of our country.
