Queridos misioneros,
Lamentablemente no logramos 200 bautismos pero quiero
hablar de las buenas cosas que sucedieron. Logramos 175
confirmaciones. Hemos subido en bautismos 4 meses
seguidos. El promedio de bautismos las últimos dos meses y
suficiente para lograr mas de 2,000 bautismos. Bautismos mas
de 50 dos de los 4 semanas este mes y las otras semanas no
estaban tan lejos de 50. Estamos muy cerca de tener 1,000
nuevos investigadores cada semana.
En Abril hay 5 semanas. Si seguimos mejorando como hemos
hecho, vamos a superar 200 bautismos—sí o sí!! Es mas,
tenemos Conferencia General este fin de semana con una
sesión del Sacerdocio. Esto nos da 5 oportunidades para tener
INCAS. Si el investigador asiste a cualquier de las sesiones
cuenta como una asistencia—pero solo una para todo el fin de
semana (si alguien asiste a 3 sesiones no tiene 3 asistencias,
solo una).
Esta semana es semana santa y nadie va a trabajar de jueves
hasta lunes. Esto quiere decir que muchas personas van a
estar en casa y podemos enseñar mas de lo normal. Debemos
tener muchas INCAS por esto también. Debemos invitarles
venir y escuchar al Profeta y los 12 apóstoles.
Pueden bautizar este sábado y puede coordinar con el obispo
para confirmar entre las conferencias el domingo o esperar
para el siguiente domingo.
La mayoría están haciendo un muy buen trabajo con bautizar
cada semana. Están haciendo lo necesario para fijar 2 fechas
cada semana y tener nuevas INCAS cada semana. Si está
teniendo dificultades con bautizar cada semana trabajen con
sus líderes para identificar que necesita hacer diferente.
Necesitamos enfocar mas en tener INCAS y retener los INCAS
que tenemos. Para lograr bautizar cada semana necesitamos 5
INCAS cada semana mínimo. Trabajen como distritos para
lograr esto.
2 Nefi 1:23. “Despertad, hijos míos (e hijas!); ceñíos con la
armadura de la rectitud. Sacudíos de las cadenas con las
cuales estáis sujetos, y salid de la obscuridad, y levantaos del
polvo.”
Confie en el Señor. Utiliza el poder de Él para lograr sus
metas.
Elderes, he notado dos cosas que necesitamos mejorar. Uno
es que veo muchos de ustedes que tienen pulseras
(bracelets). Es prohibido en el Manual Misional. También no
deben arremangarse (roll/fold up your sleeves).
Gracias por sus grandes esfuerzos. Es tiempo para hacer mas
en marzo para logra la meta de 200!

Milagros: “[my companion] and I were doing our visiting and
as we make our way to a certain home she begins to tell me
that the young man we are going to visit was a contact she
and [another sister] had made but had not yet found in his
home but that we were going to try nonetheless. We went
and knocked on the door, she rang the doorbell and nothing.
Again, and nothing. After what felt like probably ten minutes
she turned to me and asked me if I thought we should go. I
remembered what I had read that morning and all the sudden
I was filled with this overwhelming desperation that Paolo
(the young man) needed to hear this message and that there
wasn´t possibly a way that we could leave that doorstep
without first leaving the happy message of the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. I told her we should wait and began to pray in my heart
that Paolo would come to the door. Not 30 seconds later he
opened the door and we began to teach him the first lesson.
Hna Rivas up until this point had been helping me give half of
the first lesson and this was the first time that I was going to
do it in front of an investigator and i was so nervous but I
remembered the faith that Moroni talked about and this
desperation I felt to share this message and I just went for it.
President, I do not think I have ever felt so calm and at peace
in my life. I began to recount the first vision and the Spirit was
so strong.”
"We've had a lot of success working in the mornings, one
morning we had 4 nuevos, and in the week we finished with
11.”
