and blessing, we can have the chance to finish this paper entitled “Buru island” right in time. The
authors would also like to say thank you to Mr. Satria Agust, S.S., M.Pd. as the instructor and
lecturer of the course that always teaches and gives us much knowledge about the lessons.

The authors realize that this paper is far from perfection. Hopefully, this paper can
provide a broader insight into the reader. Although this paper has advantages and disadvantages,

A. The location of buru island

The island of buru is one the places who located in the strategic area. Where the island is
located in side by side with the Singapore sea. Buru island is divided into two districts and two
villages.The island of Buru Buru Subdistrict are located in and are part of the County-owned
Island 247 Karimun. It is located on the side of the Middle, diimpit by the North and Kundur Sub
Sub Karimun. According to a Story from the mouth to the mouth oral tertutur, Buru is the Curse
that is drifting. Reportedly, before transformed into an island, Buru merges with the Mainland of
Johor, Malaysia.As for why it is named after the island of Buru, a reference mentions this island
called pulau Buru since ancient times is a place for people to do favorite activities hunting the
animals of the forest such as Babbler or pork.

B. Cultural and Historical Places

Culture in Buru Island is have variation , there are have Malay, Java, Bugis, Padang,
china, and Batak. But the most famous culture in this island is malay. Malay culture very useful
for every people in this island. The people will feel the malay culture is still thick. For example,
marriage that uses with malay culture is done with tepak sirih.

There are what makes the name of Buru Island more famous for many historical relics, for
example :

1. Makam badang
2. Moyang serage
3. The old mosque
4. The old temple and
5. Setanggang

Well, it's the saga of the terlapas, to be sure, the island of buru has now become one of
the Karimun Regency respective tourist destinations, especially religious tourism, history and
nature tours. Some of which was Eating the Badang, H Abdul Ghani mosque, Vihara Tri Dharma
Cetiya (Bu Sua Teng) as well as the tomb of the Seraga Ancestors. While for the natural
attractions, you can visit the world-famous Chic looking i.e. Cape Ambat or if you much time
lest lupun boarded the thermal baths or hot water-spiring narutal his Tanjunghutan, an island in
the Board.

Access to the island of Buru, too terbilag easy. There are three regular Boats from
tanjung balai, who headed there i.e. Rush beautiful, Karoma and Karimun. All three are serving

negotiations with the owner of tergantun home. But if you want a different atmosphere, and you
can set up tents around the island of Buru, namely coastal area or Court of the citizens. But in
order to be safe and comfortable, ask for prior permission to the owners or residents around.
The Tomb Of Badang

While round-the-island of Buru, activities you can do with a taxi-fare increased

depending on proximity to much traveled. For example, Badang kemakam return the taxi will be
mengutifnya at a price of Rp. 20,000 up to USD 25,000, one way, if it is close to the market
Rush to Hurry, you just pay IDR 5,000 merogok,-. Outside the taxi, practical and efficient way to
enjoy the island of Buru is by foot or bicycle naek. Only there is no bike rental there, so if you
like to bike, you have to bring your own bike.

When it's satisfied its island of Buru, don't forget to buy the ole-ole typically salted eggs,
pastries namely, rose, or crackers gelebe. However, it was not easy snack third. So if you want it,
far-away days you should order to manufacturing centers at kampung Baru or at Kampung Kayu
Ara sweet. The price of one egg salt revolves around Rp. 2500, sedangkat cakes rise, perbungkus
off at a price of Rp. 25,000.

Cultivators

Thats where many people seek bacis needs.

 CONCLUSION

The buru island is one of the tourist attractions which is located in karimun regency area
and it’s very famous for friendly locals, culture, historical places and the geographical. The
island of buru is one the places who located in the strategic area. Where the island is located in
