A. Kompetensi Inti:
KI 1: Menghayati dan mengamalkan ajaran agama yang dianutnya.

kerjasama, toleran, damai), santun, responsif dan proaktif, sebagai bagian dari solusi atas

alam serta dalam menempatkan diri sebagai cerminan bangsa dalam pergaulan dunia.

B. Kompetensi Dasar
KD 1: Mensyukuri kesempatan dapat mempelajari bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa
pengantar komunikasi International yang diwujudkan dalam semangat belajar
KD 2: Mengembangkan perilaku tanggung jawab, peduli, kerjasama, dan cinta damai,
dalam melaksanakan komunikasi fungsional.
KD 3: Menganalisis fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan dari sebuah lagu
dari Imagine Dragons yang berjudul Thunder dan Gone Gone Gone yang akan
didengarkan oleh siswa.
KD 4: Menangkap makna dari lagu tersebut.
KD 5: Menyunting lagu tesebut dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur
lirik, dan unsur kebahasaan yang benar dan sesuai konteks.

D. Learning Objectives
At the end of the lesson, students can: Understand the meaning in simple songs about
success, be able to apply them in their life well and correctly, and can identify English-
like things like grammar in the song.

teaching moral messages.
Text structure: Mention the material / part of the item that is presented in full, and a
list of steps taken.

explain the task.

Students are divided into two groups to sing the song based on the part given on the
paper.

After done with activity 8, student or the leader of each lines are asked to explain the
values and messages of the song.

• Accuracy and suitability in pronunciation and copying of song lyrics

• A collection of student progress in the form of a collection of songs copied in


handwriting along with an impression of the song
