How are you? Sorry i didn't write earlier, but as you know
i was at summer camp and there just wasn't any time for
letter writing because they kept us busy!
It was a great experience this year.OK, there were the
usual activities – you know, sailing.go horseback riding,
sailing and other activities,but this year, I helped build
wodden huts ; It was an amazing experience.
I think I had a lot more responsibilities. we older guys had
to teach the children did their share of the camp chores.We
also made sure they did not injure themselves. It was a
little difficult but I managed.
They cleaned the camp or wash the dishes but I got worried
when some of them started setting up tents.
Anyway I feel sad because you did not come with me. It
really is an exciting ,educational experience. You learn so
many useful things! I know how to cut firewood, cook and
build a safe camp fire now.Best of all, you have the
opportunity to have a horse and take care of it. I love
horses!
I came back this year feeling so much more mature and
self-confident.I don´t think there is a better way to
encourage Young people to become independent in their
lives.You really should try it.
Anyway I hope you come with me to next year.
