0 BUSINESS REPORTING OBJECTIVES

The main purpose for this report is our company will do reporting on all parts of our
business. It includes vision and mission of our company, business plans, marketing
plan, financial aspect and finally our business operation. The objectives of our report
is to have an overview about our product and also our general operation business
plan. By this ways, we will get good and weak points about our products and will find
our way to improve it from time to time. This is a good ways to achieve our goals
along with our dedicated members.

2.0 BACKGROUND

VISION

Our company vision is to introduce a new recipes that will combine two famous
dishes in Malaysia and Japan. We will combining nasi lemak and sushi to present our
significance product. Besides that, our company will try our best to be the premier
company in food-based marketing that has a high brand food positioning in the eyes
of society.

MISSION

The mission of Vacissitude is to accomplish its mission by providing delicious food by


combining nasi lemak and sushi that can create interest among UPM students which
we produce it by home-made. It will help the student to create another food
products that can help them to establish its own company with their basic
knowledge about food industry. Our missions includes :
a) To produce nutritious and halal food products that meet local and international
cuisine.

b) To provide quality and best services to meet customer needs.

c) To ensure the customers satisfaction as our priority when producing this kind of
foods

d) To ensure our company can grow to next level from time to time.

MARKETING OPERATION

To develop new interest among UPM students and staffs regarding our product wich
is nasi lemak sushi. We will offer the delicious and scrumptious nasi lemak sushi
through social media such as whatsapp, instagram and twitter. This is because our
company also will take an order through all of this social media. We target to sell the
nasi lemak sushi and ice cream malaysia around 30 to 40 pax for each. The basic
knowledge on how to make the nasi lemak sushi and ice cream Malaysia will help us
in future.

This is our company logo. It is designed by our group members.

Meaning of our logo

 Colours of the logo

Our company choose blue colour as our main colour. This is because our
company shows the serenity between two country. Besides that, this colour usually
symbolizes loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence and faith. All of these meaning
based on our determination to achieve our target to sell our products. Moreover,
blue colour usually symbolize calmness colour. After all the hardships that our
members going through, we manage to stay calm to ensure our company as a food
company.

 Words
Our company named is Vissicitude. This word means that our members can
know any change surrounds us to ensure if any possibility will happen in future. We
also want to show our determination toward our products. Any consequences that
sometimes a pros and also a cons will help us to strengthen our bonding.

 Symbols

We use a circle and capital V as our main symbols. This is because circle usually
means as one. We want to show eventhough we are from different races and ages,
we can cooperate as one to accomplish our mission at the end of our semester. Then,
we also use capital V as our symbol because our company’s named. It will make
people to recognize our company easily. We also put our main products at the top pf
our circle. The customers can easily know our products that we sells.

STRENGHT OF EACH MEMBERS POSITION

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Our chief executive officer is Hasbatrisyia because she has the ability to learn from
the past. A CEO must have the ability to learn from past experiences and instill
lessons for the future. CEOs are only human. Mistakes will happen, but it's important
that a CEO learn from them to prevent them from happening again. Besides that,
strong communication skills among members.As a leader, a CEO needs strong
communication skills. Communication is key in any setting and as someone in charge,
a CEO must learn how to communicate effectively to boost moral when necessary.
From motivating her team to completing projects in a timely manner, a CEO must be
able to communicate what they need, from whom, when they need it by and how
things should be done. Lastly, our CEO manage to build strong relationship.A CEO
must have the ability to build relationships with clients and coworkers to be
successful. Relationships create loyalty and an image for the CEO and the company.
Positive relationships also create great word-of-mouth, and while your business may
not run solely on that type of marketing, it's always a plus.

SECRETARY

A must personalty of good secretary is keep things confidential.The ability to keep


information confidential might be one of a secretary’s most important traits. Then,
the ability to organize daily tasks is another important personal characteristic.
Secretaries routinely have to keep track of many tasks and projects, such as
scheduling meetings and appointments, taking and transcribing minutes, handling
phone calls, making travel arrangements for one or more superiors, filing and many
other responsibilities. A disorganized secretary can create chaos in an office. Board
members who don’t have the necessary information to review prior to a board
meeting cannot make good decisions. Lastly, Communication is critical. Secretaries
deal with many different people and must be adept communicators. A secretary
should have the ability to make visitors feel at ease by being gracious and welcoming
or able to smooth the ruffled composure of someone who must wait because of a
temporary emergency. She need to be able to communicate important facts quickly
and logically, while creating a positive working environment. She also need the
judgment to share only what is appropriate in a given situation before or generally
go the extra mile. Her ability to anticipate the needs of our boss or other people to
whom you provide secretarial support promotes their success. Make sure she keep
your boss informed of important matters and give her all the information necessary
to do her job well. All of this criteria really suits one of our members which is
Fatimah.

FINANCIAL DEPARTMENT
FINANCIAL MANAGER

Azira is our financial manager. To be a financial manager must be honest,


trustworthy and high in integrity.This is probably the most sought-after attribute in
all financial sectors. Dishonesty can be detrimental to any company’s financial health
and the Finance Manager’s reputation. The only way to change a company’s bad
financial status is to be honest about it. There really is no reward in sugar-coating
financial figures. Morever, she need to be strategy-minded with the ability to
understand all aspects of the business.Financial management encompasses all facets
of a business. From payroll to cleaning, it all impacts the financial status of a
company. So, it goes without saying that a great Finance Manager needs to have an
understanding of everything happening inside of the company. It all costs money.
Finally, she need to be proactive. A good Finance Manager needs to be able to assess
risks and take precautions before there is a negative impact on the company. You
need to be proactive when making financial decisions, as leaving it too late or not
responding will have no benefit to a business.
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

First and foremost, as financial controller need an organization. They are important
people. They manage a lot of responsibility, which means that they generally stay
pretty busy. To be a good financial controller, she need to have a system to keep
track of those responsibilities such as any portfolios you manage, the transactions
you handle, and any important dates and deadlines you need to meet to ensure that
you fulfill all of your duties to the best of your ability. She can make use of tools like
calendars, alphabetized folders, day planners, colour-coded post-it notes and
highlighters, and apps and programs designed to help you stay highly organized and
in the short- and long-term. Then, they also need to manage their time wisely. Good
time-management skills go hand-in-hand in with strong organizational capabilities. A
system for managing your workload is only effective if you also know how to budget
your time. As a financial controller, you need to manage competing priorities and
juggle myriad tasks while completing everything on time. The ability to work within
deadlines and to continually re-prioritize your to-do list will take you far. Not only
will it impress your boss, co-workers and clients, it will also help you to maintain a
healthy work/life balance and keep your day-to-day productive. The accounting

industry is highly dynamic, so accountants who are able to adapt quickly and easily

are at a distinct advantage. Sumithra is our company’s financial controller. She

manage to control all our company money wisely.


MARKETING DEPARTMENT

MARKETING MANAGER
Syamimie is our marketing manager. Being as a marketing manager, she should has
analytical skills.Marketing professionals, especially managers, face an increased
expectation of strong analytical and research skills in the early 21st century. Many
companies use computer technology to collect customer data and analyze it for
development of marketing, sales and service programs. Marketing managers must
often collaborate with IT professionals to pull data from databases and accurately
interpret them. Use of technology for customer analytics helps improve targeted
marketing and efficiency to avoid wasteful media buying and targeting of
disinterested consumers. Marketing managers also have to analyze industry and
competitive information. Besides that, leadership and communication is an
important capabilities as marketing manager. Marketing managers must combine
technical marketing expertise with coaching and leadership. Managers need to
motivate employees under their direction in a marketing department to come up
with ideas and help create effective marketing plans and complete tasks.
Additionally, a marketing manager must communicate with other functional areas
and with company leaders to explain how marketing objectives align with corporate
objectives. This also includes convincing top managers to allocate an adequate
budget for marketing efforts.
MARKETING ASSISTANT

Probably person who works as marketing assistant is determined person. It can show
went she try her best to help her manager to promote all the products. Besides that
she also doing all her best to organize and re-schedule our possible time to promote
our products. She will find suitable time and places which can increase the number
of our customers from time to time. Marketing assistants support the work
of marketing managers and executives on projects directed at maximising company
profits and developing sales strategies or marketing campaigns. Excellent
organisational skills are a main requirement for marketing assistant roles. Our
marketing assistant is Anis. She has all the capabilities in doing all her duty to ensure
our company work at it best.
PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Asyraf is our production manager. He has a strong leadership skills. Providing clear
direction to supervisors, team leaders and operatives is no easy task and a good
Production Manager will need to be able to make important decisions in high
pressure situations. He will need to motivate staff to ensure production targets are
met while maintaining the companys quality standards. It is almost a guarantee that
a hiring manager will ask about a candidates leadership skills in an interview. Be sure
to have examples of situations where you successfully led and motivated a team as
well as a time when you had a difficult situation or relationship with a subordinate.
Besides that, he also has an excellent communication skills. There is no denying that
you cannot be a strong leader without good communication skills and any aspiring
Production Manager will need to display this at interview stage. A Production
Manager will need to effectively communicate business goals and targets to his team
and ensure that these goals and targets are effectively communicated throughout
the entire team. If targets are not being met then it is the Production Manager’s
responsibility to identify why this is happening through communication with
everyone involved. I would recommend having a couple of examples of when you
displayed strong communication skills when meeting with a hiring manager about
this position.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Amirah is our production supervisor. As a production manager she need to be

emotional balance. The supervisor works in situations which involve authority,

leadership, meeting targets and deadlines, conflicts etc. The successful supervisor
has to be able to maintain emotional balance and self-control so that they may face
various situations confidently and successfully. Besides that, she must being

proactive. The supervisors have some objectives to achieve. They cannot plan

everything in advance. Several times they have to respond to the needs of the
situation which has arisen suddenly. The supervisor must also be able to have
qualities such as being committed, having a missionary zeal, taking responsibility
instead of passing the blame to others. Lastly, she needs to be creative.It means that
the supervisor must have the ability to come up with new responses to situations.
They must have new ideas and also be able to recognize a good idea when it comes
from another source.
ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

Administration manager usually a person who is well oriented to ensure their work
can be done on a time given. Maisarah as our administration manager. As a

administration manager usually they are good organizer.An administrative assistant’s

job is fast paced. Organization is a skill that has to be a part of the daily routine. An

assistant’s job is to lighten the load and stresses that come with the myriad of
responsibilities of being an executive. She keeps her executive’s calendar, organizes

meetings, conferences and travel. From the meetings, she prepares minutes, reports,
letters and other write-ups. To ensure this happens, at the right time and with all
things in place, organization is key. Absence of organization can cause difficult
situations that may result in losses. Then, being a good communicator. An
administrative assistant needs to be able to speak and write very well as they
portray the image of a company in their communication. It is their duty to write and
send out letters, minutes and memos that need to be devoid of spelling and
grammatical errors. Communication also includes listening and interrelating with
other people. In most cases, an administrative assistant is the first point of contact
for clients. They need to be able to speak clearly and concisely, but they also need to
be good listeners.

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Aina is our administation assistant. She has all the capabilities in doing her job.
Administrative assistants provide clerical and administrative support to office in
order to ensure smooth flow of operations. These support services may include
maintaining office files, managing correspondence, taking minutes of the meeting,
ordering office supplies, reviewing and editing board reports, scheduling meetings
and preparing relevant agendas. In addition, administrative assistants may also be
required to provide tier one services or receptionist services depending on their
individual job setting. In order to perform this huge array of duties, an administrative
assistant needs to be extremely skilled in a number of ways. When an employer
checks the resume or interviews for the position of an administrative assistant, he
looks for the strengths and abilities of candidate. The sooner that a candidate shows
these, the earlier he gets hired as this work involves a lot in terms of personality
demands and the acumen to work in a fast paced environment.
