El Dr. Ernst es profesor de Operaciones y Logística

Global y ex decano de la McDonough School of
Business de la Universidad de Georgetown. Es
Ingeniero Civil por la Universidad Católica Andrés
Bello y MBA por el Instituto de Estudios Superiores
de Administración, ambos en Venezuela. Realizó
una maestría y su doctorado en Gestión de
Operaciones de la Wharton School de la
Universidad de Pensilvania. Ha sido consultor para
varias empresas nacionales e internacionales, entre
ellas General Motors, Michelin, Rockwool, Casa
Cuervo, FEMSA (Coca-Cola), Wal-Mart, la
Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) y el
Banco Mundial. Co-autor de un libro sobre
"Operaciones Globales y Logística" (John Wiley and
Sons, 1998) que incluye un marco innovador así
como una serie de casos de Europa, Asia, Estados
Unidos y América Latina y fue traducido al chino y al
portugués . Más de 25 publicaciones en revistas
académicas. El Dr. Ernst es el Editor en Jefe del
nuevo Diario virtual "Globalización, Competitividad y
Gobernabilidad" (http://gcg.universia.net) publicado

Director of the Latin American Board, Dr. Ernst is a Professor of Operations and Global
Georgetown University (USA) Logistics and the former Deputy Dean of the
McDonough School of Business, Georgetown
University. He holds a Civil Engineering degree
from the Universidad Católica Andres Bello and an
