Pulse rate is rate of the arterial pulse usually observed at the wrist and stated in beats per minute. In
most cases the heart rate and pulse rate tend to be the same, but in conditions that affect either
only the heart or only the blood vessels, these values may differ. The heart rate is the measured
value obtained per minute when listening to the sounds the heart produces. The pulse rate is the
measured value per minute when palpating the arterial vessels through the sense of touch. Your
The pulse rate of human can have to irregular beats can either be too slow (bradycardia) or too fast
(tachycardia).Bradycardia is when the heart rate of less than 60 beats per minute cause electrical
impulse for contracts is no formed in sinoatrial node or not sent to the ventricles . Tachycardia is a
very fast heart rate of more than 100 beats per minute . the two types of tachycardia :
Supraventricular Arrhythmias and Ventricular Tachycardia. Heartbeat quickens, and It feels like the
The volunteer for the experiment had a resting pulse rate of 57 beats per minutes after five minutes
of vigorous activity the pulse rate of the volunteer raised to 102 beats per minute ,an increase in
pulse rate by 45 beats per minute after 3 mins of rest the pulse was 87 beats .The average pulse
after exercise was n93 beats per minute. The pulse rate increase after exercise because in order for
the body muscles and cells to be supply with enough energy to exercise the cells ned to get oxygen
to the muscles faster , glucose to the muscles faster and get carbon dioxide from the muscles faster
and get lactate away from the muscles faster. In order for transport material at a faster rate the
pulse was increase. The muscle respires more quickly which causes a decrease in the oxygen
concentration and increase in the carbon dioxide concentration thus the blood become more acidic .
The decrease in ph. cause the chemoreceptors in aortic body and carotid body to send a nerve
impulse to cardiovascular centre then it signals the Sino atrial node .The SA node then increase atrial
benefits of exercise on the cardiovascular system include reduce heart rate, bad cholesterol
and blood pressure. When a person exercise regularly the muscles are able to absorb more oxygen
so less strain is pump more blood readily. Also, less fat/cholesterol build in arties and vein so
decrease the pressure which the flow since the lumen is wide and free from blockage. Exercise also
