YANKO GONZÁLEZ (Santiago de Chile, 1971) is currently one


of the most prominent poets in Spanish. His books of poetry
include Metales Pesados (1998), Alto Volta (2007),
and Elabuga (2011). In 2007 he received the Critic's Award in
Chile for his poetry. His poems have been translated into
French, English, and German.
