AMES Chess Club (9-12)

 Captain (11-12)

 Helps work to organize tournament play, practices with teammates, and helps lead cocurricular sessions

VEX Robotics team (10-11)

 Worked as the primary coder on the team, to make a functional autonomous and drive program for the
robot.

Volunteering with William E. Christoffersen Salt Lake City Veterans Home (10-11)
 Volunteered with the main Veterans home in SLC
 Worked with veterans, both one and one, as well as in groups with lunch
 Provided help with bingo night and game night occasionally

Awards and Honors

3rd Place for 11th grade in Utah State Chess Tournament

 Played against fellow Utah highschoolers from around the state

 Lost only one out of the five games played in the tournament

Computer Programming Award of Excellence (10)

 Given at the AMES awards banquet 2016

 Given for success in VEX robotics and in the Computer Programming 1 class

3rd Place in AMES Science Fair (11)

 Given third for the project Metallic Mushrooms

 Was a study into mushrooms ability to cycle trace elements

 Spent the summer interning at Geostrata, a geotechnical engineering firm in Utah
 The work I did at Geostrata largely consisted of Geotechnical lab work, performing tests for many clients
throughout Utah and Idaho
