1.1 History of the Business
Since I was a kid, our house is located in the farm and we have a lot of
tamed animals there. We raised different animals like dogs, cats, fishes, and even
birds. As I grew up, I got interested in taking care of animals as pets. By now, even
though how difficult to budget my time is, i still have time for them. So, it is my
dream to continue raising and caring pets because they bring us and love. They are
also the source of income of my family.
Since my family knows that there is money in raising animals, we
decided to engage a mini business like pet shop and we named it IPETS. We started
our business on January 1, 2018 besides Veterinarian’s Clinic at Santa Maria Street
because we all know that it is easier to have a lots of customers.

1.2 Name of the Business

iPETS stands for I- Integrity which means adhere to moral values, Incorruptible.
P- Professionalism which means courteous, conscientious, business like. E- effectiveness
which means do the right thing and do it right for the first time. T- teamwork,
contributing the whole. And lastly S- Service, create happy customers and keep them for
life.

1.3 Mission
iPETS offers a wide selection of top quality products to meet the needs of a
variety of pets. High quality foods are available for nearly all pet types whether you have
a dog, cat, reptile, fish, small animal or feathered friend. For your dog, find everything
from dog tags and collars to beds and gates, bark control and everything in between. For
cats, shop a wide selection of essentials including cat scratchers, collars and more. You
can also personalize pet ID tags for cats in-store, so your pet wears your most up to date
contact information. For fish, small animals, reptiles, birds and more, the variety is
immense. At iPETS you can easily find birds, cats and dog’s cages, toys, treats and
more.

You can also find a variety of premium pet services available at iPETS. These
include full service dog grooming salons, pet vaccinations. If you're looking to give a pet
a forever home, you can find out when the next pet adoption event will take place at your
local store.
To provide innovative high quality, consistent, value-for-money, pet friendly
health care that will make your pet want to come back again and again.

1.4 Objectives
The objectives of iPETS are:

 The primary objective of any business is to make a profit, and pet shops
are no exception.

 Some pet stores offer educational materials, workshops and

demonstrations to educate pet owners on topics of interest.

 Educating pet owners helps pet shops achieve their profit objective by
increasing potential sales to new and existing pet owners.

 Providing pet care services not only brings in revenue but also presents
the pet shop as a team of caring professionals.

We have decided to loan P2,000,000 for the equipments and construction of our Pet
shop.
