Copper Mountain Mine- Porphyry
Exploration Objectives

o To confirm continuity of mineralization between the pits.

o To test and possibly expand reported resources between existing pits in
order to identify a new merged pit- known as the “Super Pit.”
o To identify the potential for large, deep-seated porphyry deposits
through a comprehensive minesite exploration program.

Integrated 2D IP and Geology
Copper Mountain- Survey Results

o Effective survey in a noisy environment

o Identification of targets to depth
o Confirmation of geologic model
o Drilled 37 m of ore based on Titan 24 results
o Drill results led to $29 m of financing
o Identified a new merged pit known as the “Super Pit”

In 2008, Copper Mountain succeed in finishing one of the largest drill programs in
Canada (106,000 meters) and increased the resource estimate by 45% to 5 Billion
pounds of copper. The goal of the program was achieved when the results confirmed
continuity of mineralization between the pits.

The Current mine plan merely scratches the surface of the visible anomalies that
extend to depth. Copper Mountain will continue to test these deep anomalies and
sees “blue sky” potential to develop a world class deposit upon successful proof of
mineralization below the planned super pit outline.

that could represent a
potential porphyry system
as well as related silver and
copper deposits.

o Identify new targets

associated with vein-type
mineralization within the
Silver Queen project area.

o Map and delineate

potential porphyry targets
for drill testing.

o TITAN 24 successfully identified and delineated two new targets (A and B.)

o Drill testing of Target B led to the discovery of the Itsit deposit (a Cu-Au and Mo
Porphyry style stock-work mineralization.)

o The 3D DCIP and MT inversion results of the data led to a better definition of the
porphyry system outlines and the detection of new highly prospective targets,
increasing the size of the deposit dramatically.

o TITAN 24 was very successful at detecting both shallow vein-type and deep-
seated Porphyry-style targets associated with significant mineralization to
depths of 800m.

Gralheira/Jales: Gold
Grahleira/Jales Property

 The Gralheira/Jales Gold Property covers approximately 1,250 acres

(500 hectares) and is located in northern Portugal. The
 The Gralheira gold and silver deposit lies 700 metres north of the Jales
mine and is contained within an extensive mineralized shear zone that
extends for 3,000 metres.
 The main gold mineralization is hosted within a system of sub-parallel
veins ranging from 0.5 m to 1.5 m in width.
 Jales was mined to a depth of approximately 620 m and is known to be
a mesothermal system, as is Gralheira.
Exploration Objectives

 To prove that the vein system continues to depth.

 To strengthen the geologic understanding outside of previously drilled
areas, and to reduce overall drilling costs by eliminating unprospective
ground from exploration drilling.
 To enhance exploration efforts in the vicinity of the mine, providing drill
targets related to satellite ore bodies.

TITAN 24 Survey Results

 TITAN surveys have identified over 15 major chargeability high and

resistivity low anomalies, that are consistent with vein-gold mineralized
zones, and lie buried from 100-750m depth.

 Anomalies are oriented along 5 linear trends (A-E) that extend across
the property.

 Zone A corresponds to the main Gralheira vein system. It is mapped

from surface to >500-750m depths as an IP high feature. Additional
secondary veins are indicated north of main Gralheira system.

 Zone B is a secondary system that subcrops and lies south of Gralheira.

Zone D is a buried system north of Gralheira. Zones E and C are deeper
features with weaker IP signatures.

 Twenty-five anomalies are drill-targeted, including 8 first priority features

that offer sufficient strength and depth-extent.
Follow-Up Drill Results

 Prior to this drill program, the majority of holes previously

drilled along the 2,000 m strike length of Gralheira tested
for mineralization only between the surface and a depth
of 200 m.

 The single deepest previous intercept was 300 m below

surface

 The drill program consisted of 11 drill holes, some

intersecting high grade gold and silver mineralization. The
drill program successfully intersected mineralization up to
511 m below surface, with most drill holes intersecting
mineralization between 380 m and 480 m below surface.

Phoenix Deposit, Wheeler River Project:
Uranium
Phoenix Deposit

 The Phoenix Deposit, discovered in 2007 by a TITAN 24 survey, is an unconformity-

type uranium deposit on the southeastern margin of the Athabasca Basin, located
approximately midway between the McArthur River mines and the Key Lake mill.

 The Phoenix deposit has been identified along a strike of 900+ m, associated with
a graphitic shear zone adjoining a basement quartzite ridge
Exploration Objectives

o To use TITAN 24 DC/IP to help delineate structures containing

unconformity Uranium mineralization for efficient drill planning.
o To construct a complete geophysical map of the property to better
understand basement structure.

Previous Exploration
A TITAN 24 survey conducted in 2007
clearly identified the alteration zone
associated with Phoenix as a
conductive zone protruding through
the unconformity. Several follow-up
surveys conducted in subsequent
years provided a detailed and
comprehensive map of basement
structures, and mapped the Phoenix
zone along strike. Drilling has
mapped a high-grade zone over a
strike of 250+ m, and the deposit
remains open in all directions.
DC Resistivity Plan Map, 450 m Depth
Titan 24 Survey Results

 The structure hosting the Phoenix deposit is well defined

as a conductive lineament in the basement.
 Several other conductive lineaments in the basement
provide secondary exploration targets.

 Orebody shown in Red.

 Depths are 700 m for IP, DC and 1300 m for MT.
 IP does not outline orebody; may be too deep to resolve – another
strong IP signature present.
 Resistivity sees the top of the orebody but does not terminate.
 Both sets of MT results show anomalies for orebody and possible
extension to depth.
Rambler- Stacked MT Plan Maps

 Orebody shown in Red.

 Depth estends to 1300 m.
 MT shows that Ming orebody occurs at the juncture of two structures.
 East – West structure dominates from 200 m to depth.
 Northwest structure present from 200 m to 600 m.
Rambler- Stacked MT Plan Maps

 Orebody shown in Red.

 Depth extends to 1300 m.
 IP shows that Ming orebody has an IP signature except where ore has
been mined.
 East – West anomalies near bottom right corner thought to represent a
thrust fault.
 Possible source of mineralizing fluids.
Rambler- Survey Results

 2 distinct geophysical targets termed a priority for drilling

with other lower priority anomalies.

 Anomalies associated with the Ming Mine and satellite

ore dip steeply to the northeast, and appear as an MT
conductivity high, resistivity contrast in DC, and an IP
high.

 Opportunity for additional mineralization at depth (-

600m) to the east of the central north-northwest fault
zone.

 DCIP and MT data quality is good. Some cultural

Trevali Mining Corp., New Brunswick
Halfmile Mine: VMS
Halfmile Mine- New Brunswick

 Conventional geophysics had failed to detect and map

to depth the largest of the three massive sulfide lenses
found at the Half Mine base metal VMS deposit in New
Brunswick. The deepest and largest sulfide lens was left
undiscovered for decades. As a result, the full value of
the deposit was not known.
Halfmile Mine- New Brunswick

 The Halfmile Mine is located in northern New Brunswick, Canada,

approximately 60 kilometres southwest of Bathurst and 40 kilometres
from the Brunswick 12 Mine in the Bathurst Mining Camp. The property
consists of 73 claims and covers an area of 1,104 hectares.

 The property was heavily explored by Xstrata Zinc and its predecessor
companies at intervals since the 1960s. Trevali believes that its Halfmile
and Stratmat properties represent the largest and highest-grade
undeveloped deposits in the Bathurst Mining Camp.

Geology
 The Halfmile Property contains 4 sulphide zones: Upper, Lower, Deep and
North. The deposit is a volcanic-sediment-hosted massive sulphide deposit
and is one of over 45 massive sulphide deposits in the Bathurst Mining Camp.
Rocks are of Ordovician age and have undergone a complex history of
polyphase folding and faulting. The deposit is structurally overlain by rhyolitic
and dacitic rocks as well as disconformable quartz-wackes and pelites.
Half Mile Mine- TITAN 24 Results

 TITAN 24 detected and mapped the vertical extent of the Half

Mile base metal VMS deposits in New Brunswick, to a depth of
over 1500 m. As a result Titan 24 was able to map the largest
and deepest massive sulfide lens that was discovered several
decades after the initial discovery of the near surface zone.

 The Norman and Levack mine site properties are located

just outside of Sudbury, Ontario along the known Sudbury
contact, footwall and offset Ni-Cu massive sulfide
mineralization. The Sudbury structure has been accepted
to have been caused by a giant meteorite impact.

Jwaneng Mine: Diamonds
Jwaneng- Minesite Survey

Jwaneng Diamond Mine

is the richest diamond
deposit worldwide by
value and a key driver in
Botswana mining
Jwaneng Mine- Overview

 Kimberlite pipe discovered in 1972.

 Comprises three steep-sided pipes that connect to each other

approximately 100m below the present day surface. The pipes
are referred to as the South, Centre and North lobes.

 Jwaneng pipes are dominated by two types of kimberlite – a

volcaniclastic kimberlite and a dark pyroclastic kimberlite.

 Titan 24 survey objective was to image lobes to depth for

reliable mapping of deposit size and geometry.
Exploration Objectives

 To determine the geo-metric characteristics of the pipe

well below the limitation of current physical information
from mining and drilling.
 Improve mine planning and provide future cash flow
implications by better estimating future mining potential.

Exploration Challenge:
 Operating within the active mine environment while
collecting accurate and useful information in an
extremely culturally effected area.
Jwaneng- Survey Results

 Titan mapped geometry of kimberlite pipe to 800m.

 Resistivity contrasts within the kimberlite, associated with different
diamond bearing facies were mapped with the Titan 24 data. These
results impact delineation drilling, mine planning and discovery
processes.
 Titan survey imaged effectively at an operating diamond mine.
 Highlighted priority zones for the next step drilling.
