talk started with Datin Fazmi Sani with her topic “Usahawan Muda - Mulanya Di Mana?”. In her
talk, to be a successful entrepreneur, she emphasizes on taking calculated risk while having a
strong determination and passion to succeed. Before she started venturing in the business
environment she was a earning a 5 figure salary and decided to take the risk by resigning her
current position to start a firm. The early stages was pretty rough and she had to work at a
petrol station as an attendant with merely a quarter of her previous salary to sustain for nearly
2 years. And as the saying goes “it is always darkest before the dawn”, her business began to
boom and currently she is one of the most sought after freelancer in the country. To stay out of
your comfort zone is one of her most recited motto.

The next speaker is CPIC Harry Hamid with his topic “First Impression - Image and Impression”
where the main theme is obviously about having a striking first impression. One of the tips he
shared in order to reduce the amount of panic before an interview is by having a proper
preparation about what would be ask during the interview and from his favourite book The
Mathematical Theory of Communication written by Claude E. Shannon , the writer said that in a
communication, 50% of the communication is through body language, 38% is from the
intonation and the rest is by the choice of words. From this, we can conclude that mastering a
body language is important in having an effective communication during an interview. Last but
not least, the amount of time that an interviewer need to judge a person is around 30 seconds
and it is the most important 30 seconds of the interview. The interviewer would judge based on
the interviewee’s clothing and conduct.

En Aziph Mustapha is the next speaker with his topic “Job or Business ?”. Based on his
experience, a person should start a business instead of looking for a job when he or she has a
Business Owner Mindset. To determine whether he or she possess a Business Owner Mindset is
if the he or she have these seven following criteria. First is by knowing how to even like to work
independently. This kind of person would take on the responsibility in creating and
accomplishing their own work schedule. Second, he or she would know how to plan the short
and long term goal of the business with a concise mission statement and an innovative vision.
Next, he or she would need to have the self-discipline and hunger to work by him or herself.
Moreover, the person would need to be financially savvy with the ability to measure and
reward successes. Last but not least, the person would need to be comfortable in creating his
or her own paycheck and knowing his or her own professional worth.
