As a patient care tech, assist nursing staff with duties. Create and submit birth certificates. Perform mother and
newborn labs. Bathe babies, and assist mothers with hygiene. Assist and educate mothers during breastfeeding.
Maintain safety and security of the locked unit.

Registered patients into the Emergency Department. Verified demographics and insurance. Maintained an

Travel Summer 2010


• 8 week Trip to Oaxaca, Mexico
Created a health camp for children ages 5-12 with teammates. In addition, we held information sessions to teach
the community about nutritional benefits of Amaranth.
