Spring 2018 Missionaries to Mexico

“I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the
night is coming when no one can work.” John 9:4

In January a team from Jonesboro,

Arkansas laid blocks for a new
church plant in Cuauhtemoc. The
congregation has outgrown its rented
facilities. As of the writing of this
newsletter, the walls are complete,
but money and/or a team are needed
to put on the roof.

In February a team from WA/AZ completed the 3rd installment of solar

panels at Bethel Orphanage in Juárez. The first installment cut the
electric bill in half. The second installment didn’t have the same affect.
That’s when we discovered that additional combination air conditioner
and heater units, or mini-splits, had been installed and the smallest
children are sleeping warmer!

Once again
Sister Josefina has
won this prestigious
honor for her service
at Bethel Orphanage
in Juárez! This is a
national award.
Also in February the West County team from
Chesterfield, MO, put up a structure to be used
for Sunday school rooms at a church in Juárez. “Woman of the Year”
Currently four classes are sharing a room.

In March we hosted two

college teams. A team from
the University of Valley Forge
returned to Bethel Orphanage
in Juárez. They worked,
served, played and loved on
the children! They also
ministered at Armando
Olague’s church.

Janie’s wish was fulfilled AGWM

when we hosted our first Chi Account #219864-6
1445 Boonville Avenue
Alpha team. These students
Springfield, MO 65802
are from North Dakota State
University. We heard the
words “Passionate” and
“Joyful” used over and over
to describe them. These two
teams spent their spring break
serving the people of northern
Mexico rather than partying
on Mexico’s beaches!
