Basic Concept of Operation

The circuit has 2 ranges:

1 100µA to 1mA
2 1mA to 10mA
Floating I-V converter converts the current value to single ended
voltage.
Full wave precision rectifier is operating as a magnitude detector. The
output is fed to the auto-ranging circuit.
The auto-ranging circuit mainly consists of a Switchable Gain
amplifier (SGA), along with a Schmitt trigger in feedback which
generates the Switch control voltage to the SGA.
SGA can switch between 2 gains: Gain of 10 for lower range and a
Gain of 1 for higher range.
Schmitt trigger generates control voltage to Switch of SGA based on
Output voltage of SGA relative to a reference voltage.
