Helpful Hints:

Hello Kindergarten Families!

We’re excited to see you again for our 3rd Exhibit Night on Thursday, March 15th
from 5:15-6:00!

Exhibit Night is an exciting, busy time and our hallways can become very congested
with guests trying to see exhibits and visiting classrooms. In an effort to alleviate
congestion in the hallways and in classrooms, we invite you to follow the suggested

Based on your feedback from our first two Exhibit Nights,
we also thought it would be helpful to review some
procedural information:

Brochures will be found at the front office. Please enter through the front
of the school on Exhibit Night.
Kindergarten session will begin at 5:15 will end at 6:00.
The Kindergarten Hall will be covered with information about what we have
been learning during this Unit.
When browsing the hallway, be on the lookout for interactive walls where
you are invited to manipulate the exhibit.
You can also look for our Kindergarten Docents, they will be stationed at
each wall to answer questions you may have about the content. Docents will
be wearing either a sash or a hat so they will be easily recognized.
There will also be Exhibits to view in two of the Kindergarten Classrooms.
Mrs. Sublett's classroom will be the Rock Room! Be a geologist and make
observations about rocks!
Mrs. Bianchi's classroom will host the Travel Journals and soil jars!
Mrs. Pangle’s classroom will have a plant sale! All proceeds will be donated
to the TMS Garden Club.

Exhibit Night Roles:

The students’ role during Exhibit Night is to guide you through their process
of learning by showing you the exhibits.
The parents’ role is to engage the children in talking about their learning by
asking them questions about the exhibits.
The teachers’ role is to support the students in presenting their learning.
The Museum School expectation is that your child must stay with you at all
times during Exhibit Night. This is important during our many activities we
have available during Unit 3!

Thank you!
Kindergarten Team
